Best Automatic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop Combos

Auto-vacuums and mops are fantastic tools for keeping your home tidy. These robots empty their dirt bins to a base station that takes in debris after every cleaning session.

This model excels in both cleaning and mopping. It has excellent floor coverage, as well as outstanding hair removal and tangle-free avoidance. It also has a near perfect auto-empty rating. It is also relatively affordable.

iRobot Roomba Combo i5

The iRobot Roomba Combo i5 is an impressive little helper that excels in both vacuuming and mopping hard floors. It will leave your floors spotless and you can set it up for specific tasks. It's a great choice for those who have mostly hardwood or linoleum floors in their home and would like one machine to take care of the majority of the cleaning.

This robot is easy to control from your phone. The app is a bit simpler than other brands but still offers all the essential features. The ability to create schedules is one of the best features, and you can even schedule it to clean at a time that is most convenient for you.

It is also possible to control the robot using your voice, which is an a fantastic feature. It is compatible with Alexa and Siri-enabled devices. You can tell it to vacuum your kitchen or your entire home. It's also smart enough to comprehend more commands than any other 2-in-1 vacuum cleaner and it also has a specific mode that focuses on dirtier areas.

SMART NAVIGATION

The robot will create an Imprint Smart Map of your home and then make use of it to vacuum and mop. It will be able to recognize different flooring types and even pick up pet hair, dirt and other debris. It uses Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes that can flex to conform to your flooring type by lifting dirt and loosening it to be sucked up by Power-Lifting suction.

It will also automatically return to the docking station when its dust bin is full. The app will inform you when it's time to empty the bin, allowing you to do it and continue vacuuming. It's also compatible with iRobot's self-emptying CleanBase which makes it much easier to manage your dirty bins.

There are a few downsides to this product, however. It's expensive, for one. The documentation is minimal and there aren't any printed instructions on how to fix WiFi connectivity issues. If you can resolve these minor issues, the iRobot Roomba Combo is a great investment for your home.

iRobot Roomba Combo j5+

iRobot Combo J5+ is among the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop combos available on the market. It features a powerful 4-stage cleaning system that can tackle dirt, dust and pet hair. It also comes with a special mopping pad that removes stains and spills effectively. It is simple to set up and is connected to your smart home devices. Its advanced navigation and mapping capabilities let it adapt to various terrain types without getting stuck or getting lost.

The iRobot Combo J5+ is equipped with an efficient energy management system that ensures that the battery lasts longer. This lets it clean large areas before having to return to its docking station for recharging. This improves convenience for the consumer and allows for continuous cleaning classes.

The robot vacuum and mop also features an auto-empty bin. This feature is a significant advantage for busy households, because it cuts down on the frequency of emptying. It automatically dumps the waste into a larger bin that is located in its charging station. It can hold up to 60 days of debris, and is more convenient than a standard vacuum or mop that requires you to empty the bins.

This model, in contrast to some of its competitors, does not use precision-vision. Instead it rely on basic floor tracking and algorithm-based navigation. This means it might be unable to locate certain areas in your home and isn't as efficient at obstacle avoidance as other models. It's still a great vacuum for most debris, and it's offered at an affordable price.

You can operate the Roomba Combo J5+ using your voice. It works with Alexa-enabled devices, like Siri and Google Assistant. Roomba can be instructed by you to Roomba to begin a cleaning session, view its map, or create digital obstacles. The app lets you alter your schedule and keep on top of your cleaning routine.

The Roomba Combo J5+ is a great option for homes with a mix of hard floors and carpets. Its smart mop and vacuum technology can detect and avoid areas with carpets and rugs. Furthermore, it does a fantastic job cleaning hard floors without smearing carpets. It can also be used on rugs, and can even remove coffee stains that have dried.

iRobot Roomba j9+

The Roomba J9+ is a follow-up to previous Roomba improvements. Its improved efficiency and cleaning capabilities distinguish it from its rivals. It's designed to effectively clean larger homes and those with pets, tackling dirt, dust hairs, pet hair and more on both soft and hard flooring. It's also the most advanced iRobot Roomba ever, featuring advanced features like Dirt Detective and mopping automation that can anticipate your cleaning requirements.

The j9+, just like its predecessor, utilizes iRobot PrecisionVision navigation technology that includes cameras to identify the presence of obstacles within your home. The robot can navigate and avoid obstacles in your home, such as furniture cords, shoes and cords wires, and even pet pee. The j9+ also comes with smaller and more furniture-friendly self-emptying Clean Base.

After your robot has cleaned an area, it docks at the Clean Base and its dirt bin is automatically emptied. The iRobot Home app records the results of each cleaning task and shows cleaned areas on your map. The app lets you select a specific time to vacuum and/or mop.

The iRobot Home App will estimate the cleaning time when you select a specific vacuuming or mopping time. You can also select the number of cleaning passes (1, 2 or "room-size" in which large rooms are cleaned once and smaller areas twice to three times). You can also alter the level of water and power and bin behavior.

The iRobot App also comes with an amazing feature called image review. The robot will snap a picture of any obstacle it is unable to detect and send it to your to review. You can then mark the object as not being an obstacle or create an area for a Keep-Out Zone. The j9+ can then block the object in subsequent jobs.

One of the main reasons we choose the j9+ over other robot vacuums is the automatic mopping capabilities. If you enable the SmartScrub option in the app the j9+ will automatically mop the tough dirt and debris that the regular vacuum is not able to remove. It also can detect and move away from wet spots, coffee spills and dirt. However, despite its numerous mopping features that automatically clean the j9+ does not clean its mop pads automatically as some of its competitors.

iRobot SwitchBot

If you're a fan of robot vacuum cleaners but prefer the multi-purpose of a self-cleaning mop the SwitchBot is worth taking a take a look. This dinky little robot includes the top features from both categories into a sleek device that blends seamlessly into your home decor. It is able to vacuum and mop well, navigates your space easily across different floors and features strong suction to get rid of dust, pet hair, and dander.

The SwitchBot's small size gives it an advantage in cluttered rooms in which larger robots may struggle to navigate furniture. Once you've connected the SwitchBot to your Wi-Fi, it will display a panel on your phone with quick controls, including a button to start a cleaning project and another to clear any clutter. You can also set up no-go zones to ensure that the robot doesn't accidentally sweep up things you don’t want it too.

In my tests during my tests, the SwitchBot managed to navigate the apartment without difficulty as it picked up crumbs and droppings from carpets and hard floors using the vacuum setting. Its smart navigation system uses LDS laser-radar to create a blueprint for your home, so that it can accurately map out the layout. It can also detect and avoid objects that could get stuck or crushed.

The edge sweeping brush of the SwitchBot spins when the vacuum setting is activated, and it cleans any debris that crosses its path. It can also reach beneath tables and chairs, making it a great option for homes that host lots of family gatherings. The app's app settings let you control the speed of the motor, direction, and power of the vacuum motor.

When autonomous vacuum is in Mops mode, its underside is fitted with a disposable wet wipe that you can replace after it has run dry. The wipes are less expensive and less wasteful than the washable pads that are used in the majority of robotic mops. The wipes fit comfortably and are able to keep them from falling out like they do on other robot mop. The robot has the cleaning tool, which is usually hidden within a compartment at the bottom of the charging unit.
