The hood can be lowered right to the baby's feet to provide sun protection or a cosy snooze and is very easy to use.

The reversible unit is another great feature, as it allows you to switch the direction in which the child faces. The reclining seat offers good head and back support, so your child can enjoy a comfortable and peaceful nap in the carrycot or seat. Claire also loved the spacious shopping basket which is accessible from the seat or carrycot unit in any position and can accommodate a full pack of nappies and a change bag!

The Xplory X is a top-quality pram from Stokke and is suitable from birth. It includes a chassis, a pushchair and the carrycot which can be set on a flat surface. But, other accessories such as the rain cover have to be purchased separately. It's an excellent choice for those who love the look of a modern Scandinavian-designed pram with a unique and functional frame that lets you interact closely with your baby.

This adorable doll pram from Mamas & Papas will help to develop role-playing and foster imagination. Its realistic features include an under-seat shopping basket, a rainhood that can be removed and an accompanying changing bag. It is ideal for running around the home or taking a stroll in the park it's the perfect toy! This is a wonderful addition to any child's collection, and could also be a thoughtful birthday or Christmas present.

4. Thule Shine

The Shine stroller comes from a company known for its cool, practical products. It is one of the lightest strollers on market, and it feels sturdy and robust to hold despite its simple design. It's also incredibly versatile and can be used from birth thanks to the included accessories that convert it into a bassinet, Newborn Inlay, or Newborn Nest and a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter (accessories are sold separately).

The Shine isn't like other lightweight strollers in the area of cargo storage. Its 22-pound capacity lets you to carry everything you require for a trip without having to leave anything behind.

It's also simple to put together with the back wheels being attached to the main frame right out of the box. The durability of Thule's strollers is legendary and I have seen them tested at the Thule Hillerstop headquarters in Sweden. To test the strength and quality of their prams, they drop them from heights, crash down slopes and run on a bumpy path in the snow. They look fantastic!
