Best 3 Wheel Stroller

If you're a runner in search for a stroller or parents who are running errands, 3-wheel strollers provide a lot of flexibility. A majority of 3-wheel strollers come with the same features as 4-wheel ones, such as storage, a child's tray and a console for parents.

The guide writers tested these strollers on and off pavement, evaluating their smoothness. They also looked for convenience and comfort features such as the reclined seat.

The Chariot Cross

Thule created the Chariot Cross for families who do not want to be indoors, and they built it with a solid design that allows them to explore the outdoors without worrying about their kids' safety or comfort. The adjustable suspension of the Chariot allows you to tailor the ride to your child's comfort and readiness to embark on new adventures.

The Chariot Cross is a favorite for joggers due to its smooth ride and outstanding agility on all terrains. It also has ample storage space with a drop-down cargo basket that can be tucked away to reduce the impact on your stride while running. It's a great option for families that like to combine outdoor activities, as it can be used with cycling, strolling and ski equipment.

One thing that makes the Chariot apart from other top-rated 3 wheel strollers is its superior passenger comfort. The seats come with padded shoulders and sides. Passengers can adjust the recline of the seat for the perfect position to relax or take in the view. The mesh ventilation on the Chariot allows passengers to enjoy a cool breeze, making it a great option for hot weather.

The Chariot also has the benefit of allowing both the front and rear of the seat to recline independently. This is great for children of a certain age who wish to stretch or read during long trips. The Chariot Cross has a large rear canopy and a viewing panel unlike the D'Lite which only has a solid front panel.

Like other Thule products like other Thule products, the Chariot Cross is easy to put together. three wheel pushchair are straightforward, and the whole process typically takes between 30-45 minutes. It is small enough to be gate-checked on planes and is folded down for easy transportation when you are in your car.

The only downside is that the Chariot doesn't accept any baby car seats, which could limit its appeal for some parents. However, if you're looking for a double stroller that can be used with car seat carriers, you should look into the Joovy Twin Roo+. It's a similar product that accepts a broad variety of infant car seat brands, however it's more expensive and doesn't offer the same smooth and comfortable ride like the Chariot.

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo's Pivot All-Terrain Modular Stroller Wagon is the perfect choice for family outings or playground adventures. It's easy to move your child with ease. With just a flip of the handle, this wagon is able to be a push stroller or pull as a wagon, and can fit two children up to five years old in the front seat or car seat adapter (sold separately). All-terrain wheels follow you wherever you go, making it easy to navigate difficult terrains such as sidewalks, gravel paths and other rough terrains.

The Xplore comes with a large storage basket and dual-sided snack tray so you can keep toys, snacks and other items in close proximity. It's also easier to fold and unfold than other models, although we found that it took longer than the standard wagon. The color indicator on the visual side will let you know when the wagon has been folded and locked.

For parents who are in search of a stroller wagon that can be used for naptime, this could be worth the money. The bassinet is included for infants aged 6 months old and younger, while a larger UPF 50+ canopy expands from two to three panels using the quick unzip for more protection from harmful UV rays. The footwell is also upgraded with more room for active toddlers.

If you don't require a reclining child seat, you can replace it with a bench backrest. This will allow your toddler to sit higher and better view the landscape. The Xplore is compatible with the majority of infant car seats. This provides convenience and safety to all members of the family.

The 3D Lite

This stroller is an excellent option for parents who want an lightweight, affordable, and compact stroller that won't cost a fortune. Summer Infant's 3D Lite is their lightest convenience stroller, weighing in at just over 14 pounds. This model offers plenty of features for your little user, including recline in multiple positions and five-point safety harness. The 3D Lite offers plenty of storage space and features that are convenient for parents. This includes an infant cup holder that includes a snack tray, a cup holder for the parent, a zippered pocket and padding handles.

The Lite's lightweight frame makes it incredibly maneuverable and easy to push. It rated highly in our Strollers Test Program, earning Very Good marks for Ease of Utilization and Maneuverability. It also scored well in the Stroller Safety Category, which includes features to ensure that your child is secure and safe like locking brakes, changing the safety harness, folding and unfolding, and attaching and removing the car seat that is compatible with it.

One thing to note is that it takes some balance to fold the Lite. To do so you need to lift a lever located in the back center and then step on a lever simultaneously with your foot, and then push down on the handle with the other hand. The process takes approximately 4 seconds and is a bit slower than other lightweight strollers we've test.

The Lite is a great travel stroller, has a small footprint, and a convenient carrying strap. However, it does not fold as compactly as other strollers we've examined. The Bugaboo Ant and Babyzen YOYO+ fold smaller, making it easier to fit into airplane overhead bins.

Lastly, the Lite isn't able to convert into double strollers and doesn't have a ride along board for older children. If you're seeking a double stroller or one that can fit more than one child, we suggest reading our Top 5 Lists for the Best Double Stroller or our Guide to the Top Double Strollers. With a price tag of just under $150 The Lite is a good choice for parents who are looking for a travel stroller with an umbrella-style fold and a lot of features for their child.
