Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its greatest advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

top robot vacuum is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas that you don't wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.

Its design is an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying, which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it across the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand that other robots aren't able to do. It did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

The j7+, while not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who need both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to determine if they are working until you see them in action.

2. vacuum robot

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best option. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank which means they can mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also come with a variety of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock makes several of our top robotic vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't disappoint. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like table legs and walls, which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few missed corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map, or change the labels of rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also features an impressive LCD display that is great to have when you're setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people but it will assist you in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and function are some of the top available - but it's also pricey.

The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tried that does an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does everything.

If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at an affordable price point. It's easy to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock must be placed near an outlet with plenty of space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The primary characteristic that makes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable items that are in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.

The sleek G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished carpet or floors with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require as much emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30, on the other hand is less expensive and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials such as cereal.
