Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuum and mop combos I've tested. Its base station comes with a large dustbin and water tank. Its dual rubber brushes are less prone to hair tangles than single bristles.

Its mopping performance is top-notch and its AI mapping is a success in the midst of obstacles. It also has the ability to pause its cleaning work and then resume where it began.

1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo j9+ is one of the most advanced 2-in-1 robot vacuums and mop cleaners currently on the market. It comes with an elegant, self-emptying Clean Base that can accommodate up to two full mopping cycles and is even designed to resemble a small table. It's also the only robot mop we tested that comes with a built-in water reservoir to automatically wash and refill the pads for cleaning after each mopping and vacuum cycle.

Download and open the Yeedi App and follow the steps on screen to connect the M12 to your Wi-Fi Network. Once connected, you will be asked to give your robot an unique name. It is important to know that the M12 can only be used on 2.4 GHz networks only.

The M12 has several different cleaning options, such as vacuuming and mopping. Its clever design allows it to create a floor plan in just six minutes and alter its cleaning path according to. However, it struggled a little when encountering longer-pile carpets and several large, thick piles of dried-on debris.

Like all robots that are available, the S1 Pro comes ready to roll out of the box, and requires only a quick initial mapping run to figure out how it can navigate your home. The map will then be displayed in the app and you can add or merge rooms as you need to. You can also create virtual boundaries areas, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't wish the robot to touch specific items.

The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head that exerts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to mop and vacuum is a great option for homes with floors of both types. However, its reliance on Eufy cleaning products (which are included in the box) could make it less versatile than other robots which permit you to include your own cleaning solutions.
