Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle different floors. Look for models that allow you to select between several modes, utilize their charging docks to self-empty and clean up stairs.

Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of rooms and floors.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them, and was able to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. affordable robot vacuum provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.

This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that is able to easily remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spin mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station when required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is smart that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a large margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a reliable internet connection to access the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always get every last piece of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you would like to keep out of the app.
