Path of Exile Item Upgrades

The performance of many Path of Exile items can be improved by upgrading the performance of them. They can cause additional damage, AD or even affixes.

Sometimes, however upgraded Common and Magic gear is beaten out by Rare-grade equipment due to their requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades are a form of upgrade that can be applied to armor and weapon items. They boost the stats of whatever item they are attached to. Armor upgrades can be found in the world of games and purchased from Blacksmiths on bonfires. They can also be salvaged by using a professional or higher salvage kits to salvage upgrade components from items.

The amount of damage that a piece of armor or weapon can absorb depends on the level of its upgrades. The upgrade of an armor piece to maximum upgrade level will increase the damage it absorbs. But, it's important to be aware that this upgrade will increase its weight, which will cause it to be heavier than it was before.

There are a variety of armor upgrades that are available in the game. Each one has a distinct effect. Certain upgrades grant armor an extra amount of health points while others make it more powerful and lighter.
