robotic hoovers and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home, create cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power and how much water your mop uses.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These features are essential in my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum we've test so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. Additionally it's not as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned, and the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to remember that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase but its cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot and is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. If you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests, but this may be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has many functions at a affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is dense, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean the entire area mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its "Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

The machine has a major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice feature and helps this robot get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
