Its intelligent features allow it to move through homes with ease and provide strong suction at 2000 psi that can clean up everyday dust, dirt and pet hair. It also has self-emptying ports that automatically empty the dust bag once it's full. This is the most affordable deal on a robotic cleaner available at the moment.

The Q5+ uses LIDAR and other sensors to map rooms the first cleaning, which helps it to avoid obstacles. It's also noticeably soft around furniture legs and other sharp edges, in contrast to many other vacuums that ram everything in their way like they're in the path of a coming train. It is great at cleaning carpets with low pile however, it may have issues with power cords that are thick or other items that could get stuck in the rollers.

The app lets you schedule cleaning sessions, alter settings and manage the robot. You can also check the battery status of your robot as well as its location. You can even set up an invisible fence to stop it from leaving. It's important to know, however, that this model doesn't have drop sensors like other Roborock models. It can also automatically switch from sweeping to mopping to ensure there is no crossover when switching between hard floors or carpets. It also comes with a mop pad storage station that can automatically dry and clean the pad, thus reducing the amount of mildew and bacterial.

One of the most impressive characteristics of this machine is its high-powered 11,000 Pa suction capability. The machine is able to remove dirt and dust quickly and is able to work on surfaces with high-pile carpets. The mop comes with a TriCut anti-tangle brush that eliminates knots and helps deal with tough staining. It's also easy to modify the cleaning settings using the Dreame app, which provides extensive customization options and a handy scheduler.

The Dreame L40 robot vacuum and mop is well worth its price. Its smart features, customizable cleaning, and simple dock maintenance make it a great option for households with a lot of space. However, the smart dirt detection feature and dock maintenance could be improved. The Dreame L40's blazing performance and user-friendly application make it an excellent Black Friday buy.


Eufy RoboVac G30

The G30 Edge is the latest robot vacuum cleaner from the Eufy stable. Like previous models, it's priced reasonably and has plenty of features. It's also more quiet and compact than the competition making it a great option for smaller and apartment homes. It's capable of cleaning floors on a regular basis. It features suction up to 2000pa, multiple clean modes, BoostIQ to optimize power and a 100-minute running time.

It's a glossy black and blue affair that's a fingerprint magnet, similar to smartphones but that shouldn't stop it from being the right fit for many homes. At 12.8 inches across and 2.85 inches tall, it's one of the slimmest robot vacuums we've ever tested, which means it can clean beneath low furniture more easily than other models.

In the box inside, you'll find a charging base, AC power adapter and two side brushes, a third unibody filter, a cleaner five cable ties and an informative guide. Eufy recommends that you prepare your home by removing all objects that could cause a trip for the G30 and its attachments. Also, fold any tasseled edge of area rugs in order to keep them from getting stuck.

One of the things that makes the RoboVac G30 apart from most other robots is its rotary brush, which sweeps dirt and debris from hard-to-reach spots in corners and along walls. The smart sensors can detect cluttered areas like stairs, aprons, and other obstacles and adjust the cleaning path automatically to ensure that it covers all the floor.

When mopping the G30 has a tank that can hold up to 4.4fl 8 oz of water. It connects to the bottom of the machine. The mopping kit is easy to empty and refill and comes with a set of microfiber cloths to clean dry and wet spills.

The app is super simple to use and has numerous options for changing the robot's behavior. The G30 can even be programmed to return to its base for a recharge or to stop cleaning after a certain time. It's not equipped with the latest mapping capabilities and other features that are similar to those found in more expensive robots, such as the ability to create virtual no-go zones, but that's a small price to pay for a lower-cost model that runs smoothly, maneuvers well, and requires less maintenance than its rivals.
