Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and are able to handle various floors. Find models that allow you to choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.

Many of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.

When I tested the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to drive across raised room thresholds with no problem, but it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.

Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many innovative features including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply drag the pad across it. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.

This robot combo has an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a range of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when needed. Mops can also be replenished at the top of the station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush will give you an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. robot vacuum cleaner cheap sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a large space around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings as well as view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a reliable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your WiFI network at home and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by eliminating mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.

The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen in this price range, despite not being able to clean your floors. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested to not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home, which will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The device also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
