This projector is very good at grayscale OOTB. The smallest DeltaE error is 2.3 (which is barely noticed by trained eyes). power electric scooter displayed a lot of subtle differences in color for instance, when Adam hit his light staff into the ground.

Other features include 3D support, keystone correction and autofocus. These features make it easier to install and setup. It also supports BenQ's standard setup options. Subjectively, I discovered the GP500 to have very accurate grayscale OOTB. It measured a DeltaE of just 2.3 which is lower than what's visible to the human eye but still quite good. The Dynamic Contrast feature really added depth to the a few night scenes in Life of Pi and the color was stunning as well. Avatar looked great too.

The GP500 White also has several common, but not so common quality-of-life features, such as Keystone and Corner Fit (which is digital image warping). These can be useful for installations that aren't ideal as they allow you to display an image in a flat format. However, they could degrade the image quality. This is an important consideration to take into consideration. The GP500 produced very clean and distinct colors. It also provided excellent grayscale performance OOTB.
