Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with a specialized app to save the maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. robot vacuums uk are must-have features in my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pets plants, a variety of small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

In addition in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've test.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this model if you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed well across the home. It removed 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the water tank for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It also comes with an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I've tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. robot vacuum cleaner reviews that are sold separately also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your own choice of cleaners.

As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room, and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this could be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you use the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by your vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
