Best Automatic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop Combos

Auto vacuums and mops are great tools to keep your home spotless. These machines empty their dirt bins into a base station that is able to collect debris after each cleaning session.

This model is a pro at mopping and vacuuming with excellent floor coverage, outstanding hair pickup, tangle-free cleaning, a nearly perfect auto-empty score, and much more. It's also fairly affordable.

iRobot Roomba Combo i5

The iRobot Roomba Combo i5 is small, but powerful robot that excels at both vacuuming and mopping hardwood floors. It can clean your floors and you can program it to perform specific tasks. It's a great option for those who have mostly flooring made of linoleum or hardwood in their homes and need one machine to handle most of the cleaning.

The best thing about this robot is the fact that you are able to operate it from your smartphone, which makes things really easy. The app is a bit more basic than other brands but still offers all the essential features. One of the best features is the ability to set up a schedule. You can also set up a cleaning schedule that is suitable for your schedule.

It is also possible to control the robot using your voice, which is great feature. It's compatible with Alexa and Siri-enabled devices. You can tell it to clean your kitchen or the entire house. It's also smart enough to be able to understand more commands than other 2-in-1 vacuums and it has a separate mode to clean up areas that are more soiled.

SMART NAVIGATION

This robot will create an Imprint Smart Map of your home and then use it to mop and vacuum. It'll be able to detect different flooring types and collect pet hair, dirt and other debris. Dual Multi-Surface rubber brushes flex to adapt to the flooring type you have. They lift and loosen dirt, which is then removed by suction using Power-Lifting.

The vacuum will also return to its docking station automatically once the dust bin is filled. If it's time to be empty the app will notify you to empty it and begin vacuuming. It's also compatible with iRobot's self-emptying CleanBase which makes it much easier to manage your dirty bins.

This product has some downsides. It's expensive. The documentation is minimal and there aren't any printed instructions on how to fix WiFi connectivity issues. If you can overcome these minor issues, then the iRobot Roomba Combo is a great investment for your home.

iRobot Roomba Combo j5+

iRobot Combo J5+ is named as one of the most effective robot vacuum cleaners as well as mop combos on the market. It has a powerful 4-stage cleaning system that gets rid of dirt, dust, and pet hair. It comes with mopping pads that are that is designed to clean up stains and spills. It is easy to install and can be integrated with your smart home devices. Its advanced navigation generation and mapping capabilities let it adapt to different ground types without getting stuck or lost.

The iRobot Combo J5+ is equipped with a reliable electricity management system that ensures that its battery capacity lasts longer. This allows it to clean large areas before having to return to its docking station to recharge. This increases the convenience of the user and allows for uninterrupted cleaning classes.

The robot vacuum and mop has an auto-empty storage container. This is a huge advantage for busy households, since it decreases the frequency of emptying. It automatically empties debris into a larger container in the charging station. It can hold up to 60 days worth of debris. It is more convenient than a typical vacuum or mop that requires you to manually empty the bins.

Unlike some competitors, this model does not use precision vision. Instead it rely on basic floor tracking and algorithm-based navigation. It could miss some areas in your home and isn't quite as good in avoiding obstacles as other models. It is still a good vacuum for most debris and it's available at an affordable price.

You can operate the Roomba Combo J5+ using your voice. It is compatible with Alexa-enabled devices, like Siri and Google Assistant. You can instruct the Roomba to begin cleaning, look at its map, or even create digital obstacles. The app lets you adjust your schedule and keep on top of your cleaning routine.

The Roomba Combo J5+ is a great choice for households with carpets, carpets and hard floors. Its smart mop and vacuum system can recognize and avoid areas with carpets and rugs, and it is a great choice for cleaning hard floors without spreading carpets. It can also be used on rugs, and it can also remove coffee staining that has dried.

Roomba j9+ iRobot from iRobot

The Roomba J9+ builds on previous Roomba improvements. Its increased intelligence and superior cleaning abilities set it apart from all its rivals. It's designed for larger households with pets and can clean both hard and softer floors. It is able to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair. It is also the smartest iRobot Roomba yet, with advanced features like Dirt Detective and a mopping robot that can anticipate your requirements.

Like its predecessor, the j9+ uses iRobot's PrecisionVision navigation technology and a camera to detect obstructions in your home. The robot can navigate and avoid obstacles within your home, including furniture, cords and shoes, wires and even pet pee. The j9+ also comes with smaller, more furniture-friendly self-emptying Clean Base.

Once your robot has cleaned a certain area, it docks to the Clean Base where its dirt bin will be automatically emptied. The iRobot Home app records the results of each cleaning task and displays cleaned areas on your map. The app lets you choose a time frame for mopping or vacuuming.

If you select a particular time to vacuum or mop, the iRobot Home app will let you know the estimated duration of cleaning. vacuum bot can also select the number of cleaning passes (one, two or "room-size" that tackles large spaces at a time and smaller spaces up to three times). You can also control the water and power levels and bin behavior.

The iRobot App also has a neat feature called review of images. Whenever the robot encounters an obstacle that it is unable recognize, it will snap an image and send it to you for review. You can then mark the object as not an obstacle, or put an area of Keep-Out around it. The j9+ can then block the object in subsequent jobs.

The auto mopping feature is a big reason why we like the J9+ to other robot vacuums. The j9+ is able to automatically clean stubborn dirt and debris when you enable SmartScrub in the app. It can also detect and move away from wet spots, coffee spills and dirt. The j9+ does not wash its mop pad in a way unlike many of its competitors, despite having a variety of automated mopping features.

iRobot SwitchBot

If you're a fan robot vacuum cleaners, but prefer the flexibility of a self-cleaning mop the SwitchBot is worth having a glance. The tiny robot combines the most desirable features of both categories into an elegant device that seamlessly fits into your decor. It mops and vacuums well, navigates your space easily across different floor surfaces, and has strong suction to tackle dust, pet hair, and pet dander.

The SwitchBot's small size also provides it with an advantage in cluttered rooms in which larger robots may struggle to navigate furniture. After you've connected the SwitchBot with your Wi-Fi network, it will show on your phone a panel of quick controls, including the button that will start the cleaning process and another one to get rid of any clutter. You can also create zones that are not allowed to be used to stop the robot from accidentally sweeping up items that you don't want to.

In my tests of the SwitchBot, I found that the SwitchBot was able to navigate around my home without problems, and picked up dribbles and crumbs on hard floors and carpets using the vacuum setting. The system's intelligent navigation system makes use of LDS laser-radar to build a blueprint for your home so that it can accurately map out the layout. The system is also able to identify and avoid objects that could become stuck or crushed.

When the vac setting on the BrushBot's edge-sweeping feature is spinning and sweeps up any debris it comes across. It also reaches underneath chairs and tables which makes it an ideal choice for homes with lots of family gatherings. You can adjust the speed, direction, and power of the vacuum motor through the app settings.

When the SwitchBot is set to mop mode, it comes with disposable wipes on its underside that you can replace when they are empty. The wipes are cheaper and less wasteful than the washable pads used by most robotic mops. The wipes are securely fitted, preventing them to fall out, as they do on other robot mops. The robot has the cleaning tool, which is typically hidden in an area on the side of the charging unit.
