You can adjust the shelving in each compartment to create a customized storage layout for what you want to keep. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is also attractive. The LED lighting adds a nice accent. The in-door storage bins come with a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall objects. The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a full suite of features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support through GE's SmartHQ software. Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Created to appear as a seamless element of your kitchen, Bosch's French-door refrigerator is one of a kind. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also comes with a veggie compartment that keeps vegetables and fruits fresher longer, and two compressors for maximum food preservation. The ice maker we tested was one of the most efficient, and it produces the shape of a pyramid using only water. This refrigerator is the ideal option for households with a single member or kitchenettes that want a sleek design and top-of-the-line food preservation.

This fridge was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0°F and never fluctuated more than a fraction - this is crucial to avoid freezing burn. The refrigerator section of the fridge also did well. It reached the initial temperature within an hour, and remained at the temperature throughout our tests.

Bosch is known for its high-end appliances which is why it's no surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi and Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app lets you monitor and control the refrigerator remotely using your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive however, it offers excellent features and functions at a reasonable price.

While the fridge is an incredible appliance, it's important to know the limitations. You might need to be creative with tall items because the fridge is limited in shelf space. One of the best aspects of this refrigerator is that the ice maker is inside the freezer, making it easy to move the ice to the refrigerator for use when required. The freezer also comes with clever design features, like sliding drawers that can help you organize your items. It also has a huge bin that holds plenty of frozen food items and an container for storing ice.

Smart InstaView panel is another cool feature of the refrigerator. You can control the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a simple way to keep track of your refrigerator and manage it, particularly when you're not at home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat but it doesn't enhance the efficiency of the fridge. This fridge took longer to chill food and defrost it than some others we test. This could be due to its bigger capacity.

The other issue we have with the doors of this refrigerator. They have sunken handles on the front, which allow smaller people to open them from the bottom, but they're not easy for taller people to pull closed without slamming the doors. It would have been better if they came with a front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good option for those looking to combine the benefits of a French-door refrigerator's aesthetics with a more efficient layout. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also less expensive than the top counter-depth refrigerator that has an ice maker, which helps make it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't cost a fortune this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a basic fridge that may not be as eye-catching like some of its competitors however it has enough features to make it a suitable option. Its most notable feature is the temperature adjustable drawer that helps keep food items like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser and a decent ice maker that operates quickly.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated above the two crisper bins, is another great feature. This drawer lets you divert a portion of the refrigerator's cooling power directly into this area, meaning you can store foods that need extra attention. This feature is adjustable using a slider located outside the drawer. french style fridge freezer can also use this feature to set a general cooling setting for the whole fridge, but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends to produce better results than specific ones.

During my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly constant across the different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary significantly from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. That's a good performance, but it doesn't quite be among the top in our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer for more precise measurements of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge resistant" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've seen.
