Learn Even more Here in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 incorporates two of the most essential baby items: the strollers and infant car seats. It makes it so much easier to take public transport (and walk up and down the stairs).

One of the best options is the Doona infant car seat & stroller combo. It's the first integrated travel system that allows you to switch between the car seat and stroller in just a few seconds without disturbing your sleepy baby.

Simple to Use

Car seat and stroller combos that are simple to use are a must for parents. These travel systems make it simple to switch between running errands, walking your dog, or taking a jog. You can also adapt to the ever-changing needs of your child so you can take your family on adventures. Our test subjects are awed by how easily and smoothly these travel systems glide whether they have one front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are especially easy to maneuver, but even the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be pushed effortlessly with just one hand.

Certain models are difficult to attach or remove from the base, though. The Doona Combo requires a two step attachment process, and straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It's tempting to bypass these steps, but this could result in dangerous results.

Some models are more difficult to fold or store than others, making them less convenient. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold because of its huge dimensions and bulky frames. Some testers also find the canopy on this model disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold down with one button and pulling the lever. This model is a fantastic choice for parents who want to use their car seat in other people's vehicles, since it can be easily detached from the base.

Easy to Fold

If pushchairs 2 in 1 storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your vehicle or even in a closet, it must be simple to fold and unfold. The most effective combinations we've tested fold easily with one hand and are sturdy enough to be used on long walks. They're also easy to maneuver and glide effortlessly over uneven surfaces. We've seen some combos that can only be joined or removed using straps, which may feel like an extra step and make it harder for parents to secure the car seat correctly.

The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is a great choice due to its robust construction and convenient features, such as a large storage bin that is accessible from the back or front. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it simple to ensure a secure car seat installation by simply connecting the lower anchors and pulling the straps tight and then pressing the carrier into the base.

It's also fairly light, making it an excellent option for families or frequent travelers with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored very well in our tests of ease-of-use. Both come with one wheel that's easy to push with one hand. Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a flexible swivel wheel, perfect for shopping and running errands. The only downside is that they're quite heavy and can be difficult to lift when carrying a baby in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some car seat and stroller combos can be difficult to put together. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together, and it even includes a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together an easy task. Other models we looked at, such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also easy to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, on the other hand isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors and using straps to protect the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to snap the carrier in the base, and then to remove it.

In our tests, we took around 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz. This is a easy process when you take into account the time saved from not having to rip out all the pieces. The toddler seat can be slid into and removed easily on the majority of these models.
