Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum-mop makes an excellent choice for those who live in apartments as it uses a smaller docking system and comes with its own trash bin. The app lets you set up different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping feature is also very impressive.

Its obstacle avoidance and mapping are impressive, while it mops very well and removes pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and refills its tank.

iRobot Roomba Combination

The iRobot Combo is an iRobot that can vacuum and mop. robot vacuum cleaner uk can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It scrubs more, and has a mobile app that is more user-friendly however it's a great alternative. It consistently picked up dirt from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most sophisticated in the world, as it lacks structured light and other technologies like LiDAR, but it still managed to prevent most collisions with furniture and other clutter.

The Combo features most of the same smarts as the j7 Plus and comes with new onboard acoustic sensors to determine the floor's type and AI-powered navigation, but does not have the ability to adjust suction power manually. It's also smaller than the vac-only model and doesn't have a an auto-emptying dock.

The Combo is one of my favorites for most homes. Its sleek design is also among the best I've seen in the industry. The sleek matte black plastic looks better than the majority of competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little touches--like a leather tab to open the bin onboard and a shelf in the dock to hold extra bags--are more elegant than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo also makes it easy to create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones and No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.

Roborock

Roborock, a relatively new player in the robotic vacuum and mop market has already established itself by offering innovative cleaning technology. The brand's vacuums feature industry-leading suction, and mopping systems make use of vibrating mops that scrub floors clean. Plus, a wide range of scheduling and mapping options lets you adjust the schedule of cleaning for your specific home.

Another amazing Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance, which lets the robot detect objects that are lower than its height. This is particularly beneficial for the most well-known Roborock models, such as the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation, because of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are notorious for hitting furniture and slam into pet faeces without noticing but the Qrevo Master solves this problem with Reactive AI, which utilizes twin cameras to detect the presence of objects in a room.

Roborock robots have a variety of convenience features to reduce maintenance. They include docks that can be auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with multiple functions. These features make it unnecessary to empty dustbins or wash mops manually, allowing for a truly hands free ownership experience. The app is easy to use due to its straightforward layout and its lag-free communication with the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

With a wide range of cleaning options and advanced mopping features the Hobot Legee is among the best robot vacuums/mops for both dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system combines five different technologies to plan and follow a path that is the most efficient. It also detects different flooring materials, as well as obstacles with precision. It can even raise its own 7mm to glide over carpets. The smart spray system uses the proper amount of water to wash away stains without leaving unsightly water marks.

The Legee is a Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which are priced higher. It is more advanced that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets better than a round model. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass) four forward-facing sensors, 1 right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and 2 pairs of cliff detectors, front and rear (most robots only have one pair). It also includes Legee SLAM, which minimizes the bump and grind issues that are a problem for Gen 4 Robots.

The Legee is distinct from other robots because it has a trash compactor built-in and operates on the quieter 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The included LuLu mop cleaning station cleans, refills and dry the mop's cloth. This means you can use it for up to six times longer than other mop cloths. It also reduces waste and the frequency with which bins are empty.

Karcher RCV 5

Karcher is a household name for its pressure washers and gardening tools, has been dabbling with robot vacuums for some time. This is the most tech-savvy model from the brand. It is powered by LiDAR and creates maps of your house and can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It can also distinguish between hard floors and carpets, so you don't get water puddles on your pile.

Its navigation is excellent that can avoid furniture or rugs with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The robot can be customized with different settings, including cleaning schedules and the rooms it should be cleaning. It also has an 'emergency' button that will oblige the robot to return to the base when it is running out of power and can be programmed to automatically shut itself off if the weather is forecast to be stormy.

The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite large at almost 4kg, it's not difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. more info as sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs are appreciated by those with small children. Once charged the device will take only a few hours to charge, and the two buttons on the top will turn green to signal that it is now ready to use.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is able to combine advanced technology with a low price. It is a rival to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its price being lower, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models aren't able to beat. It utilizes sensors to adjust its settings for different surfaces and floors, and also to detect areas that are more prone to dirt and ensure they get enough attention. It can also move slower to avoid damaging delicate furniture or walls.

The device can map your home's interior that you can view within the app. You can also mark out certain rooms and objects you want the vacuum to avoid. It also features a clever design that increases the efficiency of cleaning corners by up to 60 percent. It can hold up to 7,000 Pa of suction power and RoboSwing arms. It is controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RV3 is a stylish, feature-packed robot vacuum and mop. It does an excellent job at keeping floors neat and tidy. While it can't raise its mops to carpets or rugs like the award-winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's very good at both cleaning hard floors as well as tackling mopping with a stunning speed. It also has an auto-emptying bin, provides an excellent suction power, and offers many mopping options, and is operated by a high-end application that runs on both iOS and Android.

It's smaller than the other models and its main brush is a bit shorter but it still managed to do a good job in our test room. The revolving brush on the side that is used for edges is a nice feature and, despite the fact that it didn't lift dirt from our rugs and was not as effective as some of the competitors, it did a very decent job overall.

The device can be programmed with specific cleaning parameters for each room. It will then create detailed maps using the built-in LiDAR navigation. It's easy to control using the app, and a range of voice output options can inform you about the condition of your home robot. Regular updates to the software improve and enhance its performance. The application can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
