Michael T. Rabideau is a litigation attorney and owner of The Law Offices of Michael Rabideau, P.A.. Mr. Rabideau is admitted to practice in Florida Courts Statewide as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and focuses in the areas of Criminal Defense and substance abuse law. Mr. Rabideau currently has offices in West Palm Beach, FL, Wellington, FL, and Boca Raton, FL, Florida. For several years, He specialized solely in criminal defense but realized that a vast majority of his clients had addiction problems and regularly found themselves in criminal court due to drug and/or alcohol abuse. Recognizing that without addressing the core issue, many clients would end up back in jail. Therefore, during plea bargaining, he would request treatment services with the aim of rehabilitation rather than incarceration. Given his expertise with individuals suffering from the addiction disease, Mr. Rabideau expanded his practice to also focus on substance abuse law, with the belief that an individual could be supported before the addiction worsened significantly and someone ended up in criminal court or worse. Since that time, he has handled numerous petitions under the Marchman Act on behalf of families and loved ones, seeking a better life for their loved one. He is a legal attorney and analyst for CBS News, NBC, and FOX News and has been quoted in media outlets. He is an active member of the Florida Bar, The Palm Beach County Bar Association, the NACDL, and the FACDL. In addition to being a commentator for several prominent television networks, he is also an part-time professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University, teaching criminal law.
