David Stodel Unable to download the install file via the BdJ link. I have recently been having the same issue with other BdJ-offered software......

I went onto the 1tree website and downloaded the .zip file from there. The serial number sent to me via email worked.

Hubert CANEVET Oh you are unlucky, for me the link received by mail was OK.
Oh, I did not try on the website, maybe they are different ?

It did not ask me the key, perhaps it will do so later.

Maybe for next version 1Tree increases the font size, that would be so nice. Oh, the description tells the interface is customizable ? I must have missed something.

You know, people who do not have that problem today are about to have it later, for most of them

1. Download from BDJ or TSS will get the same portable package.

2. Usually, we don't ask user for the license, because it's an impolite behavior, though many software companies do this. We prefer to let users actively enter the license key.

3. Yes, you can easily adjust the text size on Options interface, just click the gear icon on the toolbar.

Hope this helps.

Hubert CANEVET Oh nice indeed, thank you.

@Brian W, did you verify your firewall ?

Brian W Quite a basic program. I liked the idea of selecting different directories to move, but there's no search to find them, so no advantage over explorer.

TSS Support @Brian W,

You can easily move the checked resources to different directory, even do "copy to".

Robert Crombie Further Info -
Using XP Pro 32bit
My IE has been flaky for years (difficult to fix as MS developers don't know what keep it simple means, so they embed IE into the OS)
If I may be so bold to say - Your developers also should keep things simple.
They are 'joining at the hip' your program's interaction with the web, by insisting we use IE or EDGE.
Other software developers do not do that, and I have not had problems using FF as my default browser.
Could you pass this message to your developers - 'KISS' (Keep It Simple)

TSS Support @MoreRobert Crombie

It's already simplest.
When verifying license, just visit the related URL by .NET web feature. No any third-party code or component used.

And if you visit product/company homepage in software (1TP), your default browser will open the related URLs.

We do not need you to reuse your "flaky" IE, but just make sure your IE can visit the Internet, because for a .NET program, it will use MS's browser (On XP, it's IE, On Win10, it's Edge) to get the result from a URL.

First, this is a portable software, no installation needed.
Please click the Key icon on the toolbar to input your license key.

Borge Larsen @Robert Crombie (& TSS Support)

I have the exact same problem: It will not register under XP (SP3).

And strange: I also have a GiveAway of version 4.1 — and this version is able to register without any problem. So TriSun must have made a change somewhere between versions 4.1 and 6.0 which kills the connection to the register server.

So I will continue using v4.1 :-)

Yes, now it will verify the license online.
v4.1 just verify key on local PC.

Brian W @TSS Support, The downloading problem is a BDJ problem. It's been like this for weeks. I don't know why they don't fix it. As you can see from the comments, everyone can easily download the same files from your website but cannot directly from the BDJ website because Chrome automatically blocks it with no notification.

You can download it by right-clicking "save link as". Then it will start downloading and you will see it in the bottom download bar but Chrome will mark it red as unsafe and only download it if you select to do so.

The Chrome explanation is: https://support.google.co...34803&rd=1

Burton User Apparently this will not work on a computer that is not on line. I tried installing it on my main computer with all my information, which I will not connect to the internet, and there is no way to register it. Its now on the one I use to get on line where it is totally useless.

I know this is a virus false positive in Chrome for BDJ site.
So please just download it from 1TP's official site, it's also simply.

Just the FIRST verifying needs Internet connection.
I don’t think your computer will never go online.
And you can register the giveaway license within ONE YEAR.

Once verified successfully, you can use it just like the handy Notepad app WITHOUT Internet connection.

Hope this helps!
