Yfor Looks like great product, but how are iPads and other non-Flash devices supported if the HTML output is a container for an embedded Flash object? Any plans on having an HTML5 version yet?

Alan When it says "•Upload flipbook online to 3DPageFlip Server" what exactly does that mean?

Does the final created book reside on my server, or your server?

And I also want to make sure that IPads, IPhones, Android tablets and phones have no issues viewng the ebooks?

Michel Van Hi,

I tried out the software with a PC, it worked well. I purchased it then in the mac version and can hardly believe what I see. Pages come unreadable, far less templates, no function to import themes. I checked and found the mac-version is 1.0.0 where te PC version is 2.6.3. Am I right in thinking that the mac version is not on the PC level (at all)?
Can I please change to PC-version than?
Thanks
Michel

Julian Hadlow Hello,

Licensing seems too restrictive with just one computer. I need to be able to install on one PC and one laptop as I work away from home a lot.

I would have thought that most companies would allow for this.

Any other options available?

Michel Van I am a bit confused about the uploading policy as well. I read that I have to pay for an uploaded book with at least 1€ a month. From there I can inbed it in my website. Is this true? I did nor read about any extra costs in the promotion. Please make clear what is the case. I hope, I am mistaking here.

Can you clarify that and the embed policy and costs as above?

The 3D PageFlip Standard enables you to output HTML book with mobile version together, which uses HTML5 technology, you can output and publish online to view your book in browser of PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone and Android devices.

@Alan
"Upload Online" service helps you to upload created 3D book onto our 3DPageFlip server directly, you don't need to use some other FTP or upload tool to publish your book online. You can also output locally to upload yourself with FTP.
You can output HTML format book with mobile version together to view your published book on iPad, iPhone and Android devices.

@Michel
Yes, we can help to exchange license code for you to use PC version instead, just email us your Order ID and License Code.

By the way, we are developing features for Mac version at present, maybe you can have a try on Mac version later.

@Julian
Sorry that our program license codes are device-based codes, a single license code just can be used to register the program on one computer. You know, our programs are free upgrade forever and support forever.

@Michel
Yes, if you want to use our Upload Service, you need to pay for it every month as Standard User($1.00 per point to upload 1 book for 1 month) or VIP User ($9.99 per month, upto 1000 books). This is extra service for easy uploading your book online, of course, you can also use your own website to host created 3D books without charging.

@Ann
Please refer to the before answer. :-)

@Mikael
Yes, 3D PageFlip helps to build real page-flipping effect books with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) integrated for Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engines.

@Mark
We are trying our best to make the Mac version work better now. About embedding, you can publish anywhere and embed into any webpage, if you want to use our Upload Online service, you need to pay for it every month as Standard User($1.00 per point to upload 1 book for 1 month) or VIP User ($9.99 per month, upto 1000 books).

similar problem with the free pageflip light version

it says macromedia flash active X control not compatible with this windows version (windows 7 professionel)

what to do?

subscribing to the panel with my license to gain 6 points it says:

license code does not exist!

I must say: this is a bit of a BIG fatigue, I am seriously disappointed!

Our program license codes are device-based codes, a single license code just can be used to register the program on one computer. But you can always free download latest version to install and use.

@Michel
Thanks for your trying and checking, if you encounter issue later, you can contact our support team directly: http://support.3dpageflip.com/open.php . Wish you enjoy our software.

@Daniel

TERRY L I just purchased PageFlip Standard for Mac because Alice Li says it can output a mobile version for iOS iPad but I cannot find the settings to do this, I have no use for this product if it can only output Flash since it doesn't work on iOS devices and that is what I need. Can you please help, thank you

Alice Li @Stefan
Yes, you can transfer license code to use on another computer. Just make sure you uninstall the software in old computer, and then install the software in new computer, use the original license key to register.

@Terry
The Mac version does provide mobile version output option, you can download the latest version here to install and try again: http://www.3dpageflip.com...ip_Mac.zip . But there is no Flip mode for mobile version at present which we will add in later versions. You can track our newsletters to get the upgrade news.

Michel Van This is a bit complicated, but let me see if I do understand it .

The PC version is the much better developed version. The mac version is more simple (no additional themes etc) but has a mobile option that the pc-version has not. Is that right?

TERRY L @Alice

You shouldn't say that Standard does mobile output in this thread if it does not work on the Mac, as that point was not clear until I bought it and asked. In all the product descriptions here and on the website it says multiplatform and works with all devices, outputs to mobile which is not true. I would ask for a refund because all of the sales information about the product is incorrect - but if you get the Mac version working properly I will wait for it and not make a fuss. But until then I cannot use it.

I see the Pro version for mac can do mobile pages but standard does not. Please keep in mind that HTML5 output is very important. There is no support for Flash on iOS and most content publishers are no longer using Flash anymore to publish content. Any content that is published needs to work on iPhone and iPad.

Alice Li @ Michel Van
Mac version is simpler, it supports design a theme by yourself, but don’t support importing or saving themes. PC version can do all that Mac version can do (including publishing for mobile or iPad) and has some functions that Mac version doesn’t have.

@ Stefan Hauber
Maybe you can try and if you really meet such problem, you can email us for help.

@ John Ward
Yes, pc version is capable of publishing something that will work on iPads or iPhones. You can find how to do it from our FAQ:

gigi bibi it is funny that you replied as it was available but I tried for more than 2 hours in the promotion period time and the page I got was a general purchase page without any reference to promotion and just showing the regular price as why I wrote saying that the professional version opened a page that showed the discount/ promotion from you. So I didn't have access to your promotion in this software and it is not fare as I could read people could open a normal promotion page to this software.... Whatever don't looks like you could/can fix it...

Knight @gigi bibi As I mentioned above, I initially thought like you that you I could not get the promotion price... You actually had to fill in the first page and submit it to see the rebate being applied on the total price.

gigi bibi ok, I got the it, I went to the professional and other offers and saw that the discount amount came in a kind of order page that was not the case here so I didn't try to complete the page - whatever, should I blame who for discrepancies - I thought they forgot to publicate the discont amount in the page - it's not my fail..... whatever again today you have it by 35% off and you know whatever.............. Thanks for the tip but it make me think if the promotions are realible.....
