Tazzie What about updates and upgrades?
Why only one computer? Even with 50% off that adds up quickly for many of us who have more than one computer, especially a desktop and laptop. My MS Office allows me up to 3 computers, so this is not necessarily a financially better deal.

Kelly Hamblin First time I've seen WPS Office at a discount. I tried this office suite a few years ago and really liked it. IMO it's probably the best MS Office replacement there is. I'd grab this deal in a minute if I hadn't already purchased another suite or even if I could think of a really good reason to spend $50 on something I don't really need.

Mike Shanahan Helloooo? Anybody home? Still wondering about the question I asked 12 hours ago. I guess it's really about whether or not this requires online activation when I thought about it. That's usually in the Fine Print section. I wish Bits would consider an actual template for that section where ALL fields are required to be filled by the developer. But since it's not there, I would love an answer. Thanks to Bits and WPS!

_*_ Went to your website and looked for the business edition. What I found was you sell it for 79.99 for a lifetime license.

In this sale, upgrades are only good for 36 months. Why not the lifetime license as it shows on your website?

I would much rather see a sale here for the lifetime version as it appears on your site, then what is offered here for sale.

Michael User The wps.com website lists no "business" edition. There is a "premium" edition, which is for 3 PCs and shared/mobile/cloud integration, and a "professional" edition which is for 1 PC standalone with no shared/cloud/mobile integration.

Can you confirm this "business" edition is actually the WPS Office Professional edition?

Also, it looks like Asus computer owners have an open special offer (50% off, or $40), and they have had summer and thanksgiving sales of 50% off ($40) as well.

The "lifetime" license is 3 years, and includes all updates and features during that time. When the license expires, it most likely reverts to the restricted "Free" version which has ads (a popover on launch for 15 seconds, mostly to upgrade to the paid version). The other restrictions are 1 PC usage (for cloud-based Premium 3 PC license), and 5 pages of PDF-to-word conversion.
