Ralph Bressler So, I build my fancy flash website and get it on the web in a snap. What happens when someone with and iPad or iPhone tries to view the site? Isn't there something about Flash not working on Apple products?

Dianna Sandora I'd love to have this, bu $143 is still a little steep, do you think they'd be willing to go any lower? Thanks

Nico Westerdale Ralph, Unfortunately the vendor is not always available to answer questions on this comments board during the promotion, even though we try and always get them here. I wouldn't read too much into it.

vern bly @ Ralph, Apple products indeed will not view flash websites. Html 5 is the new way to make a website making flash obsolete. 143 bucks is way to much for a program that makes obsolete websites.

Ralph Bressler @vern bly I guess that was my point. The distributor makes this sound like it is the newest thing and it is not. I did look at some websites and they seemed to have identical version for flash and non-flash. I thought perhaps the program could produce both. Actually, I am not sure why you would want to do that since the HTML5 version could be used on any device. I guess we'll never know as the author has been silent.

@Nico I understand different time zones and other problems that can come up. However, this deal covers 24 hour period and i think potential buyers that have questions have the right to have those questions answered from the source.

Rick Truell Ralph Bressler: "Isn't there something about Flash not working on Apple products?"

It isn't that flash doesn't work on iOS devices (I don't think, though I might be wrong about that), it's that apparently when flash is running, it sucks the battery life down like there just ain't no tomorrow! As you know, battery life is everything to mobile devices, and people complain bitterly when the battery needs to be charged more than once a day. With the way that flash drains the battery, Steve Jobs decided the complaints weren't worth it and prohibited flash from being made available on the App Store.

It appears that you *can* get flash for Mac computers (running OS X), but really, if one is creating a web site, why bother using flash when: 1) HTML 5 is quickly making flash obsolete.; 2) flash is a point of security vulnerability on any computer it's running on; and 3) by using flash, you're alienating a vast number of people...who are probably happily telling all their friends that you've got a sucky web site.

Godfrey Ko Thank you for the comments and interest in A4DeskPro. For fastest reply to any product related question, please use our official custom service page at: http://www.a4support.com/ as we have dedicate staffs replying customer inquiries submitted thru that page.

In replying to the questions above, while flash is supported on 98%+ PC desktops, Apple devices indeed do not have built-in Flash plug-in support. Because of screen size, resolution and platform differences, it is very common these days for websites to have a desktop version and mobile version

A4DeskPro is mainly for building websites cater for users who browse the web using their desktop. We do have other HTML5 products in development but they are not part of this promotion.

This promotion actually includes multiple flash products, including the website builder, a photo gallery, a video player, a music player, a event calendar, etc. You can see the original bundle package link at:

http://www.a4deskpro.com/...x-pack.php

While we understand it is best to have 1 solution for all platforms and devices, at this moment flash is still a widely used standard on many websites. For webmasters who know their target audience are mainly browsing their website on a desktop PC, they will find these flash based tools very easy and quick to use, and can potentially helping them launch a website with multimedia content a lot sooner (and cheaper) before a perfect cross-platform solution is found.

Hope this answers your questions.
