Tom Colvin It looks like ActionOutline has come a long way since I first evaluated it about 3 years ago. I am curious to know, however, what this outliner does to set itself apart from KeyNote, which has become indespinsable to me. I'm guessing there are some new features there that will make it worth another evaluation.

Green Parrots Software Support Personally, I found ActionOutline much more convenient and intuitive to use. It is very easy to populate new outlines and rearrange them later. I like keyboard shortcuts much more in ActionOutline. It can handle large outlines, with very big number of items, easily.

Green Parrots Software Support There is no specific portable edition available, however you can install or copy the software to your usb drive. It will work successfully, without installation, on another computers right from your flash.

Stew C Quite nice - but have a look at My Notes Keeper first. It includes a portable version and a free document viewer plus the ability to create e-books from your outlines. And no I am not on commission for it (unfortunately!).

There is a free document viewer for ActionOutline and you can purchase an eBook add-on that will compile your outlines into a single exe eBook!
