Bruno Verschraegen Good thing that BDJ mentions it is for Mac. On the vendor's website, which on the Home Page states "Built for Mac, Mobile and PC", there does not seem to be one single clear mention of WiFinder being for Mac only. And if it is there, then it must be out of obvious sight or I must have a particular bad eyesight or ability to focus this morning... The only hints that give this fact away are a) that two of the partners at the bottom of the webpage are MacUpdate.com and MacZot.com and b) under the description of Alerts it says "sports full integration with Mac OS X's Notification Center"... But those are only hints, not straightforward statements of system requirements or compatibility. I have also looked in the support section, but nothing there too. If I am right and there is no straightforward mention of the fact that this is a Mac-only product, then what would happen if one found this software through own websearch and went ahead to buy the product? Also no such luck under Manuals, since that section only provides the laconic statement "Our manual is written by you. We strongly believe all of our apps are mostly self-explanatory. However, there are the odd exceptions!" under which one post about 'Maps Not Working'. Oh wait, maybe something there will make it obvious? Sort of yes, indeed, here it states "Our mapping engine uses Apple's internal geo-locating feature"; I guess by now one would understand this is probably a Mac-only software. Still think one should not have to dig that far to receive enough warning signs.
If I am wrong, I will stand corrected; if not, maybe the vendor could correct this and make it much clearer on the product page?

Ant Dude Interesting program, but it is only for a year. When I got it, Kallaxa Software sent me two/2 e-mails. One/1 of them was to confirm for an account. I thought they were spams or phishing e-mails at (fir/1)st!

I still prefer the free KisMac, iStumbler, and others though.
