T L Does this provide the option of saving the metadata in the file properties of WMC .wtv files? Does it offer a lossless repackage into an MPEG Program Stream?

Wolfman Can it perform an edit and re-save as WTV without reencoding?

Aiseesoft Dear Wolfman,
Thank you for your feedback, Aiseesoft WTV Converter can edit the WTV video files, such as cut any part of the wtv video file, merge different video files into one video file, crop the video playing area to remove the black bars around the video, you can even add watermark to the output video and you can also take snapshot to save the picture you like. However, you can not re-save the wtv file without reencoding. I'm really sorry. But we believe you can use our software to convert your WTV file to many other video formats that are more acceptable by most of the players and mobile devices, such as iPad, iPhone, iPod, PSP, Apple TV and Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy S4 and even HTC One.

If you have any other question, please contact us freely.

Best Regards!

Aiseesoft Dear T L,

Thank you for your feedback. I'm really sorry for your first need, the output video can not keep the metadata in the file properties. We will add this feature into our future version of Aiseesoft WTV Converter. Thank you very much!
I'm really happy to tell you that you can repackage your wtv video file into mpeg video easily with our software.

If you have any other question, please contact us freely.

c kronengold I use MCEBuddy. It does all of the same things as this software, is always free, and also can remove commercials from your programs before encoding.

Willing to give this one a shot, though, to compare encode speed and quality, and see how it handles copy protected WTV fils (ie: recorded off HBO)
