Danny Yet another pc optimization software. Already have many different tested or tried out. But all without satisfactory results. Why would this exclusive? ;-)

Chris I see no replies or comments on this software, but I think that that once someone purchases this software, that they should be able to use it indefinitely and have included free updates for a year or until another major version comes out.

As Danny stated above, there are tons of this kind of software and most of them do the same thing. Why would someone purchase this if it is a yearly subscription when similar software developers have the usual included free updates until the next major version comes out? Some even offer lifetime included free updates. I have a few of the lifetime ones. I purchased such a program from here and it is good for 3 computers with lifetime free included updates and only cost $37.46

I think I will pass on this offer.

feral1 I understand the subscription approach to software if a developer is very active and the software dynamic and important. Other than that it is a circumvent dealing with software that is faulty, not ready for market or has no return policy.

If the software and subscription are necessary and complimentary to say other services or applications then I accept it also like a real estate MLS or associated calculating or ordering system.

Providing support through version updates at least leaves a customer frozen in time with his computer system should he not be able to budget new applications or the company not provide them. Subscriptions remove all benefit no matter how outdated unless one wants to keep paying. Pay or lose is inappropriate for utilities that are yet rock solid.

One has no recourse on a subscription except to cancel and therefore a subscription should have a monthly refund schedule if it is to be paid by the year, especially in fast changing environments like software.

Mark Johnson Can you show any documented test results that show your registry cleaner or memory defragment utility actually increase computer speed?
I've never seen either type of utility actually make a difference in computer speed.
Regarding your disk defragmenter -- what does yours do that others do not do? I would assume it uses the Microsoft Defragmentation API like other defragmenters, so the real differences between them are the 'extras' they do like sorting files, offline defrag, etc. Looking at your website, the only non-standard defrag item I see listed is that it can list the largest files on the hard drive and potentially move them. It doesn't say move them where - it sounds like moving them to another drive. Other defragment utilities can move the largest files to the slowest part of the hard drive; is that what you're talking about? Also, does your defrag utility differentiate between hard drives and SSD drives? What does it do with SSD drives?

Thanks, and sorry for all the questions. I'm just really skeptical when a program claims to make a PC's performance like it was when it was new. I can understand if a computer's hard drive is practically full and has never ever been defragmented that finally defragging it can make a speed difference, but I really don't see anything else in the utility suite that can make a realistic speed difference, so would be very interested in your test results.
Thanks,
Mark.

Justin Cram looks like this purchase isn't the pro version can the developer or a rep confirm this? meaning if I were to purchase this one, I would see a lot of features that wouldn't be unlocked until I purchase a pro version..

Constantin Florea @Justin Cram - Based on what the product site shows:
http://www.amigabit.com/products/
there seems to be only one version of Amigabit PowerBooster.
