What are people saying about Amolto Call Recorder Premium for Skype & Teams

Dev G I don't always use Skype Video, but need a reliable audio recording for some Skype calls. Does this product do just Skype audio recording?
Thanks!

Amolto Yes, exactly! Both options are available - audio recording (to .mp3 file) and video recording (to .mp4 file).

Petr I've had Skype recording add-ins or software before. Skype has recently changed it's API or something to break these recorders. Can you please confirm that your software will work on Skype for Desktop on PC (Windows)?

Amolto Yes, Amolto Call Recorder will work on Skype. Do not worry, Amolto does not use public Desktop API for recording.
Anyway, Skype will continue to support this API: https://support.skype.com...esktop-api

Stefan Hauber Most times I am using my android mobile phone to do (audio-) calls. But not on Skype yet. Is there a way (an app) with which I can connect from the mobile-phone via WLAN to my computer, where your tool is running and from that to the person I want to call and record my calls?

In other words: Can I use my mobile-phone as usual and when doing it over my local WLAN it would (automatically) record these calls for later use?

Amolto Amolto is simple to use tool for recording your live conversation on Skype for Windows. Now we have not yet implemented the use of more complex modes as you described.

mix624 While a skype call are being recorded, is there a sign that confirms that recording is going on ? I have another software where it says "recording" while recording and if it is not recording I can see so too. Then I might have to restart my computer for it to start to work again.

Not fun to record something more than an hour and then later find out that it didnt actually record.

b g Please excuse what may be a question with an obvious answer but, does this also work with Zoom or any of the other screen-sharing programs? If not, suggestions, please?

Vincent Whitfield @ b g: The implied answer to your question seems to be Yes. Part of the product write-up on the company's website states: "SCREENCAST / AUDIOCAST
Record video/audio from any application". A write-up of an earlier version on Softonic says: " It works with Skype or other VOIP applications and records in high-quality audio format." A write-up on Filehorse of the current version says the same thing. I don't know anybody who uses Skype as the backbone for their video conference calls and very few people who use MS Teams. Like you, my major experience is in Zoom and occasionally one of the other screen-sharing programs. However, obviously it's touted to work inside Skype and Teams but can also apparently work with Zoom and others. Maybe you start the conference and then start Amolto. I figure for $12 with all of the other perks being offered when you buy, I will probably gain more than I will lose with this program. I'm buying.

Peter Dr @b g and @Vincent Whitfield: Thank you for the question and for your comments.

It is true that it says on the website that it works with other applications. But all the documentation and support information is related only to Skype and Teams.

I would like, therefore, confirmation from the developer directly. This way not only will we know that we can use if with other applications but we can get an idea of the support that we could expect if we do purchase this program.

Amolto You can use Amolto with other apps like Zoom. In this case you need to start / stop recording from the program user interface. Skype and Teams meetings are recorded automatically.

DH007 When using Amolto, do I need to have Skype , Teams or Zoom as full size windows on my desktop or I can minimise them (namely MS Teams and Zoom) and do something else on my PC desktop and.the video and voice would be recorded?
