What are people saying about Aneesoft Flash Gallery Classic

Nigel Brewster If your a designer or web developer, a business or marketeer who is serious about having galleries on their website, Flash is a bygone age unfortunately.
We have to think in smart phones and tablets these days and CSS3 & HTML5 have taken over as the main technology for this.

I say unfortunately because CSS3 is hailed as the tech to take over from Flash and quite honestly it's not in the same league in my view. I love Flash and when it's done right it's a joy.

Eustace Phenackertiban @Nigel - I don't know what you're reading, but my sources don't point to CSS3 at all (which has basically very little dynamic except :hover effects and transitions/transforms, many of the latter of which work only on Webkit browsers at this time), but to the element in HTML5, and more saliently, to the thousands of very competent, powerful and flexible solutions written in javascript and jQuery, among other frameworks, ALL of which run without a hitch on any platform currently available.

I will also agree that the effective banning of Flash from mobile platforms has decreased its value for some developers. But, reports of the death of Flash have been greatly exaggerated, to paraphrase a certain white-haired humorist. It is still widely used by a very great preponderance of Web developers and their clients, and there are many applications in which failure to display on a mobile platform is not a particular drawback, or can be addressed by applying the principle of progressive enhancement, something that professional developers have found themselves doing for many years now for a certain (cough... IE... cough) family of rendering engines.

I can't say that I actually "love" Flash ;-) But, I can say that I'll be happy to take advantage of this deal when the time comes.

Nigel Brewster @Eustance - well at the time of writing you have 21 hrs to take advantage of the deal ;) I'll try it as well.
As for you sources I would suggest picking some different one's. CSS3 works in Firefox and IE at this point in time dynamically, as well as most things on Android browser. In fact IE amazingly (the latter versions) CSS3 animations work better without prefix than they do with webkit browsers.

As for Javascript it's always been cross platform tech, I used to be a JavascripVBscript programmer, the problems came when you married CSS1/2 with it.

With Flash if people are still wanting it, then they really are going back in time. Unless you have a desktop and a mobile version of a site and using Flash for the desktop there isn't any need for it.

Jim Buchanan Hi - Sorry to be a downer but I bought the 3D version and got the free version as well and am waiting for the Registration Code to use it. I downloaded the files at 1:12 PM (my time) and it is now 3:13 PM (my time). Are you able to help me out here or do I go elsewhere for help.
As for my email address, I know it is correct as it is filled in by my 'fill-in' form.
Thanks

PS - I already pushed the 'resend' button.

Petronius Arbiter II Could one of you maybe clarify what exactly you (and this Aneesoft program) mean by "Flash"? I just hate it when a word has two or more meanings, and Adobe/Macromedia screwed the pooch with this word a long time ago.

Do you mean the .swf file format? I hope you're not also including the .flv extension, which seems to be one of the best audiovideo file formats around.

Constantin Florea @Jim Buchanan - I have just received two email messages back mentioning:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

[YOUR_EMAIL_ADDRESS_TO_WHICH_I_JUST_FORWARDED_YOUR_RECEIPTS]

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain [YOUR_DOMAIN] by mx.bellaliant.net. [IP ADDRESS].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 Message rejected

Jim Buchanan @ Constantin Florea - I have been in contact with my ISP and email supplier and they told me that the 'mx' in mx.bellaliant.net means mail exchange. She suggested that I get your sending email address and change my settings to my email to allow your email to communicate with yours. She also suggested that it could be a mistake in my address that you are putting in and for you to check that the first 8 letters are buchajaa. I've checked my profile in BitDuJour and the email address is correct there.

On the other hand, maybe it would be a bit easier to use another email address but then when I pay with Paypal and the email gets populated it will still be this current email address. Funny that BitsDuJour seems to be the one that gets my email address screwed up. Eagerly awaiting your reply.

Constantin Florea @Jim Buchanan - Until you can fix the issues with your email account please consider changing the email address associated with your BitsDuJour account to another email address. All receipts sent to you will contain the email address from your BitsDuJour profile and they will be sent to the email address from your BitsDuJour profile. I have checked your current email address and it is indeed starting with those 8 letters.

Jim Buchanan @ Constantin Florea - done. I wonder why there is a problem. I guess it will remain one of the great mysteries of the universe - in this case - cyber space. Thanks for checking.
I wonder if this will affect my login also. Guess I have to check that as well.

Constantin Florea @Jim Buchanan - I did resend you both receipt emails once again yesterday trying to see if I still get the bounce back messages. I did not get the bounce back messages after sending the receipt emails to you this second time which means that if you didn't do anything to fix it, that may have been just a temporary issue with your email account.

Jim Buchanan @ Constantin Florea - That is good to hear, however I would still like to have enough knowledge to understand why that would happen. Alas, we can not all have what we wish for.
So
1 - as I understand it, I can use the registration codes you sent and I received through my old email.
2 - I will leave the new email (in my profile) in place so as to not have the same problem in the future, hopefully.

I want to thank you for your patience and understanding.

You have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Ioannis User @Constantin Florea : There's a small typo at Your Receipt page, under the Download Your Software line. Just swap two letters, so that the relevant word reads "verSIon" not "verISon."
Sorry, I had noticed it so many times but did not draw your attention to it earlier.

Manu dRB Might be an excellent software that makes beautiful galleries BUT Flash is out of here, Flash is dead, nobody uses Flash anymore, full of security flaws and not tablet/smartphone friendly, there are other types of software that uses HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript to create just as great or even better looking presentations and of course can be seen on all devices. Sorry but no go on this.
