Is there any difference between "Any DVD Converter" and "Any DVD Converter Pro"? I'm just a little bit irritated with all the naming under http://www.avclabs.com/an...er-pro.php and http://www.any-video-conv...s/for_dvd/.

Does a licence key for the Windows version match for the MacOS version as well and vice versa?

Bit Fly @HBOY: You are right ! This is very confusing.According to the Comparison chart, it seems, that only a "Any Video Converter PRO" and a "Any DVD Converter" exist. On the other hand seem her (BDJ) the "Any DVD Converter Pro" - Version to be offered, which does not exist in the comparison chart ???

@Joris, the Any DVD Converter and Any DVD Converter Pro. is the same. I named it here with "Pro." for differing it from our previous promo wirh Any Video Converter Ultimate.
-Does a licence key for the Windows version match for the MacOS version as well and vice versa?
-The answer is NO?

The price is showed based on our original price when we first settled. The Any DVD Converter pro. is with windows version $39.95 and mac version $49.95 in the first place. The page you saw is showing the price $39.95, not $29.95 of the Any Video Converter. :-)

Jason Howard The above description appears to be describing the "ultimate" product and not the "pro" product.

According to http://www.any-video-conv...ompare.php the "pro" version is unable to "Rip DVD movies directly into video formats".

Some clarification please - as there seems to even be some confusion with naming in older comments.

If this is the case, not being able to "convert DVDs into other video formats" really make a lie of the product name "Any DVD Converter".

Sorry for the confusion. I just confirmed with our support team that the Any DVD Converter can rip DVD movies directly into video formats.

I think you may see our old comments with the link which directs to the video converters comparison page. Actually, we have modified the page months ago and it was about comparison of any video free, any DVD converter, any video converter pro. before. We did not have ultimate version of any video converter that time. Since the ultimate version has released, we replaced the any dvd converter with any video converter ultimate in the page.

Anyway, I am sorry having you misunderstood. Wish you are still a happy buyer. :-)

bvssunnydale Hi, I go through several cpus a year and just want to make sure I can (legally, of course) un-install from one computer and transfer the license to another. I did read the policy allows installations on two computers (and don't want to violate that) but want to make sure I can move it from machine to machine (as needed). Thx very much.

What is the difference between Any DVD Converter Pro and Any DVD Converter Ultimate? The Pro version does not appear on your website.

The only difference between Any DVD Converter and Any Video Converter Ultimate is that Any Video Converter Ultimate can record online streaming video and screen activities, while Any DVD Converter Pro cannot.
