Adam Bridge Sorry - was initially interested given the price (especially when compared with 3D PageFlip Professional on BDJ) until I saw this was subscription based, lasts 12 months and then presumably stops working until I cough up more money.

I do hope the makers of contemporary software soon learn that users like myself who are used to paying once and then only paying again if necessary for useful or essential upgrades are not interested in purchasing software that expires. And as far as 3D page flipping software is concerned, I don't really get why companies feel it is so desirable that they can command high prices or demand licence renewal fees - it's nice software but hardly "must have" !

Edward Smith I too was interested in this until I found that I could only rent it. Rent software companies should learn that any sale is better than no sale, and many people like myself just refused to rent software, especially, as Adam said, for nonessential software.

HJ B I join the chorus of those who are not prepared to rent software. When a software producer sells software, the produceer has ample opportunity to recover for future development, by offering a yet better product in a future version.

It seems to me that a software producer who seeks to charge an annual fee ought explain what is so special about the circumstances that calls for that approach with their software.
