Constantin Florea @David Mescheloff, When you downloaded the installer you actually downloaded a zip file and that zip file contains a text file with the actual license for the product you mentioned.

Yes it is a 1 year license
but there is at least one product which has lifetime use with no updates that is the Wise Care 365 Pro title.

Loyal Customer I want to thank AOMI for this generous giveaway, honestly, and sincerely.

I confess that I deleted the ones with the 1-year license as soon as I downloaded them (never installed any of them).
I am left with 5 apps that say lifetime or permanent use. Three of them are useless, in my humble opinion (The 3 Ashampoo programs).
So I'm left with 1 app, the WiseCare365 app, which I have no use for because I have been using CCleaner, which is free for what I need.

So, after I downloaded something like 10 or 12 giveaway programs, I ended up with ZERO programs (pouting), and that's why you haven't seen me coming to your website for registration!

Three of the 1-year-use products do not make any sense to make them 1-year only:
The password app, the FoneTool app, and the backup app (sorry, but SyncBackFree from 2_Bright_Sparks is permanently free, again what I need).
In the future, please keep that in mind. I'm sure you will figure out the obvious reasons.

u User @Constantin Florea I already have the AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional from a BitsDuJour 2017 giveaway, which was for version 9.something but was not restricted to 1 year.
Installing this one would remove the old one. Given a 1-year license to the new one, or keeping the previous one which is very functional, I would rather keep the old one.

Tylicia Tchelebon A S same here it seems some of them were time limited which in a way defeats the purpose to take the offer although the offer is very appreciated but if someone wants their computer slimmer or antivirus app they are out of luck. Same with some other apps that say click but now are greyed out. Why not just have them free until the 31st as stated imho

Robin Campbell BitsDuJour says that there are still 6 hours left in this promotion. I "purchased" the free deal at 7:55pm CDT and got the receipt page as usual. However, that page says the time is 12/31/2023 1:57:52 AM. That is 6 hours earlier than my time, and 6 hours later than the BDJ countdown.

When I go to the giveaway page every link brings up a popup that says the promotion has expired. What's the deal with that?

Constantin Florea Indeed the giveaway on the vendor's website has expired. As you can see on the top main image of this promotion page the end date was mentioned as being 12/31 (which is today). However in many occasions when a vendor ends a (non-exclusive) promotion such as this one during a certain day it may be possible that the end of the promotion will not correspond with the end of the promotion period on our site, on BitsDuJour. We have all promotions starting and ending at a fixed time, the start time is 3:00 AM EST or 11:59 PM PST or 7 AM GMT so if the vendor stops the promotion even by one hour earlier, things like this could happen.

However even if this giveaway has actually ended on the vendor's website, we will leave it up until the end of this current day (31st of December) as there are still those 4 AOMEI products (on the giveaway page) you can get for free and you can also get any of the two up-sells if you want to.

I lost a working older giveaway because of installing the new myrecover
I also had bought Aomei products (because of the lifetime licensesI) in the past, but with the wrong date mentioned and now loosing a working registration nevertheless is not a good recommendation

Tylicia Tchelebon I just went to download my desired apps from Aomei whom I had bought from before & got the same message thanks, epired etc. Why would any company NOT honour a gift when it was clicked before the expiry time? At least let us download the products & just close the giveaway page. Can Bitsdujour get them to allow the downloads & why didn't they say you have until such & such time to download the chosen items? One thing to have the offer expire but the download links too?

ds1102 Logged in, selected down load like, takes to their site, select the software you want to down load. Then I am having the same problem as others have posted, the email I received for the reg link just takes you back to the Aomei down load page.
So my question is: Are you suppose to install the software first and then ask for the Reg information?

RichU Guys and gals, Try going more slowly. Each giveaway seems to have a slightly different registration procedure. The first thing to do is decompress the file and then look at the readme or similar file. This will tell you how to register the program. Next, get the key if necessary. Then install the program and enter the key. I have installed 4 of the programs so far with this method.

David Mescheloff I looked at the Readme file of the Swifdoo that I wanted to install. To get my registration key it says to go to the Swifdoo user center and to press on "Redeem Activation Key". I went to the center, but cannot press on the Redeem Activation Key", apparently because I once had a register Swifdoo whose registration ran out. Can I not renew it again? If you answer within the next half hour or so I can do it; otherwise it will be my Sabbath, and my loss of Swifdoo.

Richard User This is a "BitsduJour" problem even though they seem to want to blame it on AOMEI.

I think the old "buyer beware" applies here. It's only $30 bucks so perhaps it is a lesson, relatively inexpensive (if you can afford it).

Richard User I want to emphasize that I am referring - at least in my particular case, to the offer for " AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro Edition + Free Lifetime Upgrade (2 PCs) at a 40% discount " for which I paid the $30. The download link in the email 'receipt' from BitsduJour never worked at all.

Oddly the downloads for the additonal "free" programs mostly worked. Even more oddly the Partition Assistant Pro (? not Pro) was included on that webpage and downloaded. However I am somewhat suspicious that the "+ Free Lifetime Upgrade" part of the promotion is not active with the second download...

So while there is a suggestion that one should go to the AOMEI website for download I am suspicious that this does not provide the material which I thought I was paying for.....

I don't know what site it is that Balazs is referring to as there appear to be many websites associated with these deals.

Unfortunate that these things are all so unclear. Certainly the responses posted by "Nico Westerdale" don't appear to have anything to do with the messages to which he is responding.
