Don Goddard This program looks very useful. I am definitely going to download and try it. I am working on a project in the next few weeks that might benefit from animated 3D text.

Animation 3D looks very useful as well. It's amazing how many software titles get introduced in bitsdujour that I would not otherwise have encountered. Thanks!

Nick Katz I've tried out the demo and the program is pretty cool. But realistically I don't have that much use for it. I think I'll have to wait and hope for a larger discount some time. No objection to the price really, just too much for something I don't really need. But a nice program.

Richard Andersen Looks like a great program, but I'm a bit disappointed by the quality of the output. Edges of objects look jagged - an option for a better render quality and/or some antialiasing would probably do wonders.

For a comparison, here's a sample of the output from Xara3D:

If you graphics card don't support FSAA, you may see some jagged at shapes edge.
The quality of three-dimensional rendering of the FSAA settings via the video card solution, you can try.

Richard Andersen Thanks for the image links, but it's hard to judge the quality from them. Here's how it looks on my system when I export an image:

http://miscfiles.net//temp/0001/fox.png

As you can see the edges of the "F" looks rather jagged. Will this go away if the graphics card has SFAA? If yes, could you possibly upload a sample of the same image showing this?

Aurora3D Software This is my rendering of the picture, I have not FSAA tone is high, and you transfer the pictures still much better than

Richard Andersen Yes, that looks excellent!

Was going to buy a new graphics card anyway, so I'll have to get one with FFSA then, I guess.

Thanks!

Aurora3D Software To Mario Monaro, Thanks for your comment. We recommend using ffdshow to export mpeg, you can try http://www.free-codecs.co...wnload.htm, you can choose a lot of formats, I do not know what your machine configuration is like, open the template to modify the text Appears freezes and finally crashes, we did not find the problem, like him try.

Richard Andersen I also have problems with the program freezing sometimes, when editing text.

System is XP SP3.

Mar 13 2011 at 7:07am Copy Link

0

Aurora3D Software when editing text program freezing, probably because too much text you entered because, when your machine configuration is not too high, but you enter too much, too late the rate of three-dimensional modeling of the text led to program freezing, because we are able to enter text Real-time to see the text style.

Richard Andersen I've tried to enter text very fast (10-15 characters per second) several times, but that doesn't crash it. My system is also reasonably fast, a quad 2.4 Ghz CPU.

But I think I know what it is that crashes it now - it's when I press the "End" key, to move the cursor to the end of the text. Can anyone else reproduce this? It doesn't happen every time, but most of the times I press that key it crashes immediately,

Don Goddard I just finished experimenting with 3D Animation Maker. Wow, I am very impressed! I exported one of the samples as an avi and am very pleased with the quality. Based upon some of the reports above I wasn't expecting the fine results I got because I have a pretty middle of the road graphics card. Thank you for the deal--the purchase was a "no brainer" after the trial. I will definitely be considering Presentation 3D in the future.

I am also looking at Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker, which can also create logos and animate them. The YouTube demos of both products makes it seem like both products can do the same things. Do you have a comparison sheet that details the differences between these two products, or can you explain what can be done with Aurora 3D Animation Maker that cannot be done with Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker, and vice versa. Thanks.

Dexter Bell Appears good, but...

The fine print says that the program is licensed by computer.

1. Do you allow it to be installed on two (a main computer and a laptop/hot backup)?

2. How does the email registration work? The program generate a code that I email to you and you then email a new code back that I enter into the program?

3. How does the transfer to another computer work, more emails back and forth?

Thanks,
