Virus Scan for Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker

Tazzie For those of us who need to reformat and/or reinstall programs to our computers on a regular basis for various reasons, is there allowance for that considering the one installation per footprint policy?

Tazzie The Policy on this page states that only one installation per footprint is permitted. If I must reformat my computer and reinstall programs or buy a new computer after I already installed this on my current computer, will I be able to install Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker again without buying another license? Deleto Maximo So buying a new computer I won't be able to deactivate my old one and re-activate the software on the new machine without buying a new license?
Again, this is not how things should work. How come other software developers can handle activating/deactivating licenses properly?

Basically, provide a way for your customers to deactivate the software on old machines and everything's fine. That isn't too complicated.

Sebastian is another Software Vender, he has no right to interfere with my licensing policy.

Obviously there's no better then to log in to your own account "kill" the license and generate the new one yourself. (like Ad-Aware).. Or to re-generate any time you want online (SwishMax and so on..) Come on, if I must install 128 applications after OS change or motherboard change., or computer change... and I must send 128 activation request emails., than forget about!

govertz I don't understand any og this. If i buy your software, then it's mine to keep, and if I migrate to another computer, the software is still mine an I can take it with me to my new computer and use it there. If i have the install files and my activation key then all should be okay.
If I do not owe the copy I purchase, and have the right to use it for the rest of my days, I ain't buying anything, no matter how amazing it is.

I get the impression they are a fair supplier and just don't want to be ripped off by multiple installs or abuse.

Nick Katz Hi. I have a question for the Aurora folks unrelated to licensing. I can't exactly tell the difference between this program and 3D Animation maker and 3D logo animation maker.. It looks like this will make animations as well. Can graphics generated by this program be used in a video, or only on a web site? What is the difference please?
I might get this, but I would like to be able to use it to create titles for a video and I'm not sure if it is possible. I might be better off with something else. .

The Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker is different with the Aurora 3D Animation Maker.
The main different is the animation part.
Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker just support some easy animation, like rotation, scale, zoom in and out, fade in and out.
Aurora 3D Animation Maker support more than this, you can custom the animation use the Key Frame with a timeline.
I think Aurora 3D Animation Maker is more appropriate to create a animation title for a video.

Dan P I purchased Aurora last December (2010). The first activation key provided to me didn't work and I was sent another one. Earlier this year my C: drive failed and I just installed Aurora again today. Once again my latest activation key doesn't work. This is very bothersome to me and I assume with many others. Be advised.
This issue needs to be corrected!

Rich OBrien Help I purchased and installed Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker. But every time I attempt to run the program I get an error message which says:
Microsoft C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
C:\Program Files ....Maker3D.exe
abnormal program termination.
I have a new computer running Windows 7 Ultimate.
When I uninstalled the software to try another clean installation, I was directed to a website where I could give feedback. On the list should be: "Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker would not run on my computer."
Also, one choice should be "Other" with a field in which people can provide a more detailed explanation.
After uninstalling the program, I reinstalled it and again tried to run it. This time the Micorosft C++ Runtime Library error message said:
"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Aurora3D Software Hi, if you meet this condition, I think you can check driver for your "Display adapters" at "Device Manager", You need install drivers for your "Display adapters(Nvidia or ATI)".
If you use the display drivers of windows default, you might get this problem.

Aurora3D Software Make sure your operating system is Windows XP sp3 above. And please make sure you install your graphics card driver. If you open the program can see the start screen, then you may be using Windows native graphics driver, the software will be error halt.

Nick Katz Last time this was offered the developer was nice enough to offer me Aurora Animation Maker at a reduced price. It is an excellent program and definitely the best program I've used for creating things like animated movie titles, text animations and banners for web sites and similar things. I'm sure this is also a great program.

Rich OBrien The Aurora 3D Software team provided me with immediate and useful technical support. They asked me questions. I answered by email. Without delay by return email, they told me what video drivers I needed to update. I did. That fixed my computer so their wonderful software now runs on my computer. In more than 25 years of working with computers, I have never had such fast support. I can't count the number of times I've asked other software companies for support and gotten none or they responded a week later and didn't answer my question. I am most please to have the use of this important 3D software. And it is such a comfort to know that if a problem may arise, there is someone there who cares and will help me right away.

How does Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker differ from Aurora 3D Animation Maker? Both software seen nearly identical.

I installed the trial version of Aurora 3D Presentation when it was offered on Bits. Presentation impressed me...but the lack of in-depth tutorials on how to use the more complex advanced features discouraged me from buying Presentation. I recommend producing better tutorials teaching the advanced features.

I purchased Aurora Animation Maker. I feel Aurora 3D is better than the popular Xara 3D Maker v7. So, I am very glad that I bought Animation Maker. And I recommend Aurora software to others. BUT I have one complaint, explained in another comment.

I tried the trial version of Text & Logo Maker. My impression is that Animation Maker can do everything that Text & Logo Maker does. So, I can not see any reason for buying Logo Maker too.

Presentation is very impressive software. I used the trial version of Presentation when it was offered for a big discount on your web site. I am sorry but I did not like Presentation enough to buy it for that big discount. Why?

Presentation's output is too limited. I would have bought Presentation if it could have generated SWF files, animated GIF, and image sequences.

Presentation is complicated. I could not figure it out without studying tutorials...and the tutorials were not helpful enough.
For example, Aurora offers the Ferrari demo to show what Presentation can create. THERE IS NO WAY THAT YOUR TUTORIALS TEACH A NOVICE TO CREATE SOMETHING LIKE THE FERRARI PRESENTATION!

Thank you for pointing out your Tutorial page. I visited it before and downloaded the PDF User Guide. I still think that the tutorials for the advanced animation features are insufficient. Also, the instructions are not always clear enough.

Because "Animation Maker" has key-frame animation function, you can create more flexible title and logo animation.
So "Animation Maker" is more expensive than "Text & Logo Maker".

But if you don't need use key-frame animation.

Aurora software is probably easier to learn and use than other software, such as Adobe Flash Pro or even SWISH. But Aurora's method of creation is also different from other software, yes?

Unfortunately, Aurora's competitors' enjoy a huge advantage over Aurora.

Adobe Flash and other popular animation software are supported by an extensive 'library' of 3rd party tutorials, training videos,textbooks, and etc. For instance, a user can buy a 'Adobe Flash for Dummies' book to learn Flash Pro. But are there many, if any, third party sources of tutorials or training material for Aurora software?

Users of Aurora software must SOLEY depend on Aurora for tutorials. Yes?

Please don't misunderstand me. Aurora does offer many tutorials. Those tutorials do teach the basic functions of Aurora software. I did not mean to suggest differently. But the tutorials are inadequate to teach a new user how to make elaborate presentations, such as the Ferrari demo. That is my point (and a big reason why I was reluctant to buy Presentation.)

I am a fan of Aurora software. For the creation of animated 3D text, logos, and banners, Aurora is superior to its competitors. But I can see some ways to improve Aurora software for its users.

If Aurora might be interested in my constructive suggestions, I request the name of the person at Aurora to direct my suggestions to.

Lastly, Aurora should offer additional animation effects and particles. Offering more effects would increase Aurora's competitive strength against other 'easy' 3D animation software, such as Xara 3D Maker.

disenchanted I was reviewing the vendor's website.

I noticed that both this current offering for 3D text and logo maker, and their other program called, "3D Animation program" have the same 8 basic steps.
They nearly appear identical in functionality.

1. Do these two programs overlap a lot in functionality?

2. If I buy today's offering, would I be able to do most of the same type of project creations as your "3D animation" program performs?

3. Does 3D text & Logo export "animations" as which TYPE of video?
SD or HD?

The "8 basic items" for both programs are the nearly identical, except for
items #3** and # 8** [** see minor differences below]

3D Text & Logo list these "8 program capabilities", about that program.
1. One click to add 3D object(200+ templates)
2. 3000+ Symbols and import SVG
3. 50+ Professional Project templates
4. 60+ Additional TrueType fonts
5. 80+ Object Style
6. One click apply animated effects(10+)
7. Export to PNG, JPG, Tiff, BMP, GIF, TGA etc.
8. Export Animation to Movie, SWF(Windows), GIF animation or Image Sequence as you like.

The only 2 differences in these two programs, based upon reading each program's "8 program capabilities", is that the 3D animation maker, Step 3 says it has 60+ templates vs 50+ templates for Text & Logo maker.
Then Step 8, says "Export Animation to HD or SD Movie" whereas 3D Text & Logo maker do not offer both an "HD" and an "SD" movie export option.

Just curious about what differentiates the 2 products.

They seem, for all practical purposes, Identical !?

Aurora3D Software @disenchanted The Aurora 3D Animation Maker included all functions of Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker. The only different is Aurora 3D Animation Maker has Key-frame animation function, you can create many flexible animation for 3d text, shape, image and camera with this function on timeline.
1. 3D Animation Maker had some key-frame animation templates which Text Logo Maker don't have.
2. Text Logo Maker also can export HD or SD Movie.

Darrel Willman All of the export formats AFAIK are image type. With no vector-based output, scalability becomes a big issue. How large are the images and what resolution is the file exported at?

Aurora3D Software Hi, the 3d text, logo or any models can scale automatically, just depends on the resolution you want to export.
You can export very large images without pixelate.

But, if you insert a small image from your computer into our software, it may pixelate when export with large resolution.

Jo Ann Rice Like the last poster from previous comments, I'd also like to know what version is offered with this deal.

Also, will you be updating the product(s) for higher versions of Mac OS? I'm on Big Sur now so I couldn't use it right now, but I'd really love to in the near future. If you're planning to update it soon for up to Big Sur OS, I would be happy to buy it today. Thanks!

Constantin Florea @Jo Ann Rice, Our policy is as following: for discounted deals (such as this one), we should always sell the latest version of the product.

So for all our discounted promotions we are promoting the latest version of the product. However in very rare cases (like 1 case per 2 - 3 years) when this doesn't happen, we do add a note in bold at the top or bottom of the promotion page description clearly stating that the promoted version is not the latest.

When a version number is not present on the product website, we do ask vendors for the latest version of the product, however they don't always reply to this.

I don't see an answer to the second question though. Being on Big Sur OS now, will there be an update for the higher versions of Mac OS? The ones listed for this promo only go up to Mac OS 10.7 whereas Big Sur as at 11.2.1 now. Thanks much :)

Louis Gedo I purchased Aurora 3D Text & Logo Maker a couple of years ago and when I click on "SOFTWARE UPDATE" the text in the box indicates: "Current Version: 16.01071823 New Version: 11.06160000"

I'm confused as to whether or not I have the latest version.

Please help.
