Mike Montes I downloaded the trial version and, I must say, I'm a decent tech but I cannot get this program to work. All the suggested folders/directories to search for keys are not found on the drive. I think the program was meant for Windows XP, not 7,8 or 10. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but even the help file is of no help. I'll keep trying until I get it but won't hold my breath.

Mike Montes I did that initially but cannot find "Windows\System32\Config\Software"...the software directory is not listed and neither is the NTUser.dat. in "Documents and Settings", which is a Windows XP directory. But thanks for the quick response!

HJ B I installed this application on Windows 10, and I could not get it to produce anything. Either the instructions are inadequate or the program does not work with Windows 10.
Uninstalled.

Backup Key Recovery 2.2.4 is a 7 Sep 2017 release.
All of Novasoft's previous offers were dated three years ago.
What does "per user" mean?
One user may install and use one copy of the software product on a single computer at a time and only by one user at a time.

Mike Montes The problem I'm having, is when I uncheck the "Hide Protected Operating System Files", the "Software" folder is shown. But when I start the program using Administrative Rights, it's not visible and no options to view that folder within the program. Any advice?

fpi fpi I realized that Nsasoft has developed a program library in 2011-2012.
Regarding the programs evolutions other than bug fix, only a changelog would detailed about new features supported since 2012.
With "Backup Key Recovery 2.2.4" the most recent program among the 4500 is date from 2012.
"Upgrades to future versions of the software will be available", but a lot of applications, there has been zero development in a whole three years.
Why Nsasoft suddenly offer a lot of applications?
