The software license is movable to new hardware.

Also included: a lifetime license of DriveMaker Plus on the same computer. Map FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and S3 to a drive in Windows. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GG9E6aSFpjI

Dunking Fineprint says: "Online license activation is required with a hardware footprint, and 1 installation per footprint."
What happens in a disaster where you need to recover to some other hardware? I can see a chicken and egg situation where you have no internet until your backups are restored, and no backups until you have internet.

FastNeuron Inc. Hi Dunking
You can always use the trial version without Internet for 20 days without activation.
You then move the license to your new computer.
It's also possible to activate offline without Internet on the computer, please contact support.
For bare metal recoveries we strongly recommend having a prepared USB bootable drive that you can prepare on any PC following these instructions https://backupchain.com/i...e-or-stick
Alternatively you could use a second internal drive and regularly clone the OS drive to it. The clone can be used to boot immediately after changing the BIOS boot settings

Mario Demi I find creating the recovery CD for an enterprise solution too time-consuming. You should use a boot CD
via Windows PE with a BackupChain.exe version that only makes recovery possible. I would like to have a finished stick in the drawer.
