The presentation site loads fine, but when you click to download the aurora3dsoftware link does not work here, I have tried different browsers and get the same result. Can anybody else confirm this?

Stephen Kreyling No luck here in KY, USA. I downloaded other software trials today and they worked. I plan on buying the product. I was able to do a search and get regnow trial to work.

Sorry I dont know why. I have turned off the firewall and still no luck. the page loads fine on the presentation link, but when you click download I get the following.

S B From the screenshots and video this looks nice. (I, too cannot access the web site, so I apologize if these are answered on the product's web site. I'm assuming that the site will soon be up)

Aurora 3D is a company that does animated 3D graphics and user interfaces well.

1) Will the Barcode Generator take input from a file? a database?

2) Can the Batch Generator be used for UPC/EAN with a constant company number? Can it remember last-used numbers? the company number?

3) Do you anticipate being able to add images and other text around a bar code?

4) Can the output be used to directly drive label printers?

5) Do you anticipate an API or other automation mechanism for controlling the generation of bar codes?

HJ B Is this application also able to convert the graphic of a bar code into the characters that the bar code represents.?

I understand that to read a printed bar code, one needs a bar code reader. My question is whether the program can interpret a bar code graphic that is presented to it in digital format.

So, for example, if a bar code were imprinted in a digital document is reproduced in a photo, will the program interpret it?

bob roos Sorry for the mis-understanding. I read your reply with a different meaning.

The trial program "copy" stops you as soon as you click the button but export lets you get part way into export (selecting a location and image type) before telling you it is not supported. I was thinking there was one type that could be exported then.

Dennis With all due respect to Aurora3D, I have this software (and several others from them), and I cannot find anywhere to add the logo inside the QR...you can only change background and foreground colors, and of course any of the textual materials, such as numeric sequences, URL's, etc.

Carlos Reyes - you may want to download the trial and test it for yourself. May I ask why I would want to do that?

Anyway, Barcode Generator is a terrific tool if you generate any barcodes or QRs, even at the full price.

Then you can export multi-code to one image, and you can print this image at anytime, anywhere for anything.

Gde Swart I found this a while back while working on a client's project. I never realized how expensive it was just to make barcodes. There are some websites that create them free (one at a time), but to put software on your computer to do it locally is an investment to say the least.
I can't say enough about how well this worked for me. It's easy to use and creates more barcodes than I ever knew existed.
I paid full price and I thought it was a deal then. I've honestly never needed to use it since that project, but this program still gets a big thumbs up from me. It's a nice piece of software.

In the meantime, I downloaded the trial and the help-file says nothing about command-line args, so I suppose there are none.

So I suppose you have no plans to add these, have you?

Normally it's not really much work to implement this and it is always a useful extention, because a program can be embedded into a batch-file...

Michael R. I think about using a command-line-call in a batch-file.
Currently though I do not have concrete plans.
But perhaps as a start creating a batch-file
subtitle_image image-file qr-text
which could create a qr-image (with the help of your tool and an appropriate command-line call) and place it in the right-bottom corner of the image (e.g. with the help of image-magick, a graphical tool, which allows command-line parameters)

Gunderic Hagen Sorry to insist, but I would like a clarification on the word "transfer" in order to avoid future discussions.
My plan is to use it in my PC AND my laptop, that is, the same license, not transfer the license from my PC to my laptop. I would NOT use the software on both, at the same time. Is that OK?

I tried purchasing via paypal.

The process does not seem to complete properly.

The final swreg screen just says, "No shop information loaded ".

This has happened twice now.

I had everything filled out, both the shipping and the billing addresses were completely filled in.
Tried going through the paypal purchase process 3 more times.

An order # gets assigned but then I still end up with the error/message, "No shop information loaded".

I guess this just wasn't meant to be :^(

Peter Dr Hi Aurora:

I downloaded the trial version, then tried it out. But I was unable to copy the result to the clipboard or to save it. I wanted to see what would happen when I read the code. I understand that the trial is a limited one, but as I see the QR code that was generated, there is TRIAL printed across it. This would make it kind of unusable in any case.

Is there a way that I could print or save a copy of the code generated, so that I could see what a Reader would give me?

disenchanted I bought this program last time it was offered.
It has worked well overall.

Creating a UPC-A barcode, that fits onto a Dymo label, requires just a small amount of resizing. Mostly stretching the bar-code to a larger size and centering on the Dymo label.

I have a Dymo label printer I use with this program. This software, plus the Dymo printer, equals some very nice UPC-A bar-codes.

Since yesterday I have tried several times to purchase a license for the Barcode Generator, using PayPal for checkout (both with my personal account and with that of my husband).

Each time PayPal obliged and OK-ed the transaction, but SWReg blocked the purchase eventually, claiming some information error.

I tried to contact SWReg's Customer Service (via their online form) to solve the issue - no reply.

I sent an inquiry via BitsDuJour - again, silence!

SWReg sent me an auto-reminder that my purchase is not complete, suggesting I should contact them at should I need their "hand-keeping" for this, which I did, but (no news here) this just prompted another auto-response of no help!

I would really appreciate someone to try and get this issue solved and thus enable me finally take advantage of the promotion.

Dunking Kind of interested in this but the previous discussion of a command line and rejection of same is staying my horses. I think that would be essential for this kind of tool so that it can be integrated with a larger (or smaller!) system. For instance, I use Parts & Vendors for stock control and when I get a new part I print off a new location label, etc. I would want P&V to be able to call this application to generate a bar code for that label - having to switch between several apps to achieve something when a single button should do everything is a productivity-killer.

Thanks for the info. You might try revo uninstaller to uninstall and cleanup the registry afterwords. I think the eval version is fully functional for 30 days. That might clean up the trial version info.

Yes, you can add a logo in a qrcode. After you purchase it, you can choose to use it on Windows or macOS.
For Windows it supports 10, and for macOS, it supports the latest macOS Bit Sur.
