ouialaraison It seems so, as the two are very similar but BLACK & WHITE Projects is still in development while SILVER Projects has been discontinued. I remember having had both installed and I concluded that there was no point in keeping SILVER Projects. You can try that too.

The same question arises with PHOTO WORKS Projects and COLOR Projects. Franzis' naming policy is very confusing, but they really make excellent software.

Yes that's right. Black & White projects is the further development of Silver projects - just a new name. (And Color projects is the new solution/name for PhotoWorks projects.)

We had the name change in both directions. Let's say so, Photo Works and Color projects is one and the same product line.

The term "Photo Works" was an "experiment". After that we returned to Color projects again.

jman A somewhat convoluted registration process, then the "Registration Code" is required twice on 2 different screens though not referred to by the same name, but finally got it done. Software looks interesting but no time to delve into it now. I look forward to trying it out later. Thanks to FRANZIS and BDJ.

Alan Benefield I was unable to install the software. Norton Security automatically deleted it saying it is unsafe. This is not the first time this has happened with a Franzis software product.

Constantin Florea @Di User, After starting the installer, there should be a registration window popping up.

To get your registration information, in that pop-up window, you should click the "Internet" button (at Step 1) and then a page will open in a browser where you can continue with the registration process.

KERRY User Although this looks interesting I see no advantage over Photoshop or Lightroom's built in features that would interest me in purchasing this product. Since you are only offering an outdated v-4 version of your software I am going to pass this even though it is free. I would only be interested in trying out the v-5 version and not willing to pay for that what Lightroom and Photoshop both do very well natively. I already have paid a bundle for these products. When I see a v-5 product listed I would be more than happy to evaluate this product for you.

I do agree somewhat in that Photoshop or other graphics suite have similar features in them. But for some without Photoshop it is a good little program.
