Stephen Kreyling Is the policy correct on the lifetime upgrades for free?

I bought this with the link assist seo software that I use.

Please confirm "free lifetime upgrades".

Nige Bruce @Stephen When link-assistant do lifetime upgrades it refers to the software only. Remember though that after the first 6 months of use you have to subscribe to their live-plan which is a subscription service for the program to continue receiving algorithm updates etc. Without live-plan it is pretty much useless, only allowing you to work with pre-existing projects, so do factor in this cost when you purchase. A price well worth paying in my opinion.

BuzzBundle is excellent for massive social media management of multiple accounts and persona's, not for individual social media management as it is totally overkill for that scenario.

Stephen Kreyling Ok, I bought the buzzbundle for $50 since I use the enterprise of the seo powersuite. I also think the 3.00 per month on the 3 year plan is pretty good. Thanks for your reply.

Link-Assistant.Com Hi everyone, and thank you for your questions and your answers and your interest in BuzzBundle.

This software will need a maintenance subscription, which is provided for free for the first 6 months. The cheapest plan starts at $3/month.

So far, this is the cheapest social management solution you will find on the web. I'm not even saying "affordable" because it's unfair to call it affordable when it's even better than that :) $199 for the license +$3/mo for managing unlimited social accounts is something many SMMs could only dream about. It's not so widely know yet, this is why we're promoting it on BDJ now for 79.60.

My serious advice is for anyone to take advantage of this deal. Grab the license now, and you still have 30 days (while the money-back guarantee works) to check it out and see how powerful it is.

Link-Assistant.Com Stephen, I'm wondering where you found such strange info... BuzzBundle originally costs $199, and we used to offer it to owners of ALL SEO PowerSuite editions at 75% off (that was $49) but this offer was closed long ago. Right now at Xmas sale on our website it's discounted 50% down to $99.5 and it's now the best offer you can find anywhere.

Stephen Kreyling I bought it when they sent out the email. It was beta version one, and it was a bit ago. That was the deal that I used and I am in the process of getting 3 years of updates on it. In all my comments I only said I purchased it at that price and I never put a date on when I bought it, only that it was offered to the enterprise users that I have licensed. I hope that clears things up.

John H This attempt was made during their holiday promotion, and the promotion was going. The links on their page simply weren't working properly, because they had it gated (you had to share on Facebook) to get the discount. The e-mail was sent at that same time, and no reply.

Roger Thomasson @ John

The December 6th BuzzBundle promotion had no 'share on facebook' requirement and the links were working fine.

Are you referring to a different promotion by a different company?

BitsDuJour Admin - Jan 6 2013 at 10:53am Copy Link

0

John H In the stream above, I am referring to link-assistant.com, the maker of BuzzBundle when I say "they" and "their" promotion, which absolutely did require a social media share in order to receive the discount. I still have the e-mail. If you are a reseller and ran a separate promotion, I don't know anything about that. My point is that link-assistant.com has not been anything but unresponsive in my efforts for resolution. That's too bad, as I had plans to buy several copies.

If you want this resolved, please email support@link-assistant.com or email me directly at ashkalikova@link-assistant.com

We will be eager to find a solution to the trouble you're having ordering the software and will get down the price for you - but let's just please not discuss this in the BitsDuJour comments because this place is not connected to what we're talking about.

Link-Assistant.Com If you need a personal and a business account, or you need to help create an account for someone you're going to be representing further (ex. company CEO whom you're representing as a PR manager) - I would consider your possibilities not limited here. Thousands of advertizing agencies around the world manage social media accounts of their clients for better efficiency. They can manage all these accounts more conveniently through BuzzBundle.

Otherwise this remains your own responsibility and your own decision to observe any service's TOS and this goes down to the relationship between you and Facebook, where we don't have our say.

Also, what are upgrade costs, if any, when a major upgrade version is introduced?

Link-Assistant.Com Hi everybody, thanks for stopping by and for your comments.

Thanks for the kind words about Link-Assistant.Com tools!

Sorry to hear your disappointment about BuzzBundle's maintenance plan. But we have to state it once again - the software has lifetime license, and all feature updates are free for life. Maintenance plan - is the integration with social networks we simply can't afford keeping free for everybody.

Actually, the way Facebook provides it data changes every few days (without any exaggeration). And that what makes a team of specialists needed to keep the social networks integration updated.

To let your get acquainted with the software at the lowest possible price, we include the 6 months updates free of charge, and further on charge less than $7 a month (which is a ridiculously low price when compared to subscriptions other software providers charge). So, we do hope that the value the software provides and the work needed to keep it always working will justify this smallest monthly fee.

Thanks again for your interest in BuzzBundle and for your kind words!

Sweet Soft Since you know FaceBook update their data every few days, why don't you sell this as a monthly subscription from the get-go rather then pretending it's a lifetime license when you know full well the software will be worthless in 6 months and 1 week without costly maintenance?

I bought one product from this company with the same pricing nonsense, won't be caught a second time.

peter anon if you'd made it a usual 12 months licence, instead of trying to slip in a short term 6 months back bite, I might have gone for it.

Then like sweet soft said, we can view it like a $8.33pm subscription at worst.

At least a year should be enough to see if it really earns any profit to pay for itself or not.

Sam Tod Yes, Yes, Byers beware. This mob make the most of their money from the upgrade fees. The software practically stops working unless you pay for the upgrade. It would be frustrating for you. So, please don't fall for it. Right now, I have come to the conclusion that their free version is much better because at least their free version does not stop working, you just loose some functionalities. I purchased their Spyglass from bitsdujour and yesterday I uninstalled it.

Steven Avery I might be a good customer for this software. Our ecommerce company is working with HootSuite with mixed feelings.

Why statements like "updates are offered on a paid basis, starting at $3.05/mo" ? Why not point us to a page with the exact monthly parameters? This is not given on the Compare Editions page. Plus the lifetime nonsense, when, without the monthly subscriptions, the software will be worthless.

Since I despise the "you can request a refund" model, and don't have time to really test this ... I'll pass.

Look, a good marketing, SMM .. SEO program, is worth some $$. We know that . We simply don't like all the word-smithing. Talk straight.

disenchanted @Sam Tod,

This sounds a lot like the way that their SEO Powersuite operates.
What I mean is, if you do not pay for ongoing maintenance, several of the necessary functions quit working.
Do you know what in particular STOPS functioning, if you do not keep up the BuzzBundle maintenance updates?.

Have you used any of their products for several months, to see how they work?
Or did you just use the Spyglass product you mentioned, for a short period of time?

Mar 3 2015 at 12:28am Copy Link

kevin buccinna @mikeallen There are only two versions currently available, the free and the paid. A newer third version is being worked on but is not available yet. The paid version is $249 but is being discounted on the Buzzbundle site for $199. You are buying The Pro version for $87 which is a deep discount.

Link-Assistant.Com @kevin buccinna: Hi Kevin, thank you for your kind words, we're happy you find the software useful!

@Mike Allen: BuzzBundle full price is $249, you can see it at http://www.link-assistant...e/buy.html

@Sam Tod: Hi Sam, our pricing model indeed includes update fees, and that's what we state upfront.

@Steven Avery: Hi Steven, here's the page you're inquiring about http://www.link-assistant...aintenance. As you can see, the price depends on the period you pay for. Also I'd concur the lifetime point may sound misleading; I'll make sure it's out for the future deals. A full unconditional refund is provided within 30 days after the purchase, from our experience, that would be enough time to test the product thoroughly.

@disenchanted: Hi, the pricing model is indeed the same as we use with SEO PowerSuite tools. BuzzBundle maintenance fee is really important since the application takes all the results from external services only. That is why if your subscription expires almost all of the features will stop working.

0

Link-Assistant.Com @Art User: You can post at multiple blogs, the diversity of content doesn't matter. The important thing is that these should be Wordpress blogs.

@Steven Avery: The product is desktop, so the data is stored locally at one's computer. So you team members won't see changes made by others in real time or anything. To collaborate on one and the same project, they'll need to save changes and share the updated project between one another.

Steven Avery Ok. I went for it .. since buying now is the only way to combine a real test period with the good price.

Are you working on a more simple sharing method? Is there sync capability? Stuff like that.

In the long run, if we like the program we would want to have 2 or 3 or 4 licenses. How are you beginning to accommodate such companies, working collaboratively?

It would be nice if you had a forum as well. HootSuite has one, although rather rudimentary. Since one of your advantages seems to be in how you track forums, you might as well jump into the mix, the users will really appreciate it.
