I suppose this means that the end-user of the content will need to have Internet connection?

DH007 Is there any Anti screen capture feature?
I was not able to register succesfully for trial. Even resetting the password did not work for me. Is it possible to reset somehow and resend name/password?

DH007 When publishing with Content App Creator, do I always need to let CertiVox to email end-users Name and password itself? I find it very uncomfortable as end-user (trusted recipient) must register with CertVox to read/watch protected content (I do not want to use public as I want some degree of protection). Is there any way I could assign to users Login name/password myself? Preferrably to import from XLS and not bother them with an inter-step of registration with CertiVox? I only want CertiVox to protect data and check allowed/not allowed. No more.

Brian Spector Hi, Daniel, per our earlier email conversation, the promotion is just that, a limited time promotion.  We still think the service is very reasonable at list price, which is 59.95 per year.  The 49.95 promotion will last for a few more weeks. Brian

Brian Spector Hi Ed, questions are being answered here now, we will do so publicly instead of emailing each person individually. Brian

Ed Bel That is fine by me. Can i get an answer to my question? Thanks

Brian Spector Each publisher / sender on the service has one ID, which is their email address.  Multiple sender IDs require multiple accounts.

DH007 Hi Brian I do understand but this decision goes a little bit against the rules here on BTDJ "products at substantial discounts, where each deal is available for one day only"? Therefore I was so happy with USD 39.95. Secondly, is it really necessary to register with Certivox for each end-user I send protected content? Daniel

Brian Spector Hi Daniel, I'm not sure I understand the problem.  The promotion was for a limited time only? We are making an enhancement to the service, which should be ready in a few weeks, whereby each user that receives protected content will only have to ID themselves by an OpenID provider, such as Google, Windows Live, Facebook, etc. Some for of authentication does need to happen obviously, so we can control access to your content, but it will not be necessary for the end user to register, only to use their OpenID provider to authenticate. Ed Bel Brian,

I have dealt with companies who charge much more money for the type of service you offer. Why are you able to offer it for much less? I guess that what I am actually asking is, what can the major differences be between your product and others more expensive? Or, which are the limitation features of your product? I hope you don't mind my question...just trying to understand how comprehensive your product is. Thanks

Brian Spector We can because we innovated in some pretty unique ways.  The pricing won't stay this low for long, we're trying to get some scale quickly, and this is the best way to do it, we think. Download the product and give it a try, the trial period is for two weeks.

Brian Spector Hi, I need to state a correction, we ARE NOT RUNNING THE PROMOTION past today.  Sorry if my earlier response was confusing, I got the wrong information from CertiVox marketing team (Joe, you know who you are). Sorry folks for any confusion. Brian

Ed Bel While I was comparing it to the top-of-the-line software, in the meantime I have found many similar applications at similar prices. $40 may be a good price it it works as expected or too expensive if it does not. I guess it needs to be tries out. On the other hand, I will wait whenever it comes at a promotional price again -if it ever does- and decide at that time. Thanks.

Please note that all comments for this promotion will be screened before posting. It's nothing personal, just a step we have to take because of a few bad apples last time around.
