S User Years ago I bought 4 liftetime licenses (including all upgrades / updates). It worked ok, but there was still room for a lot of improvements.

Now, years later, not a single update has appeared (!), The request to publish changelogs on their site has never been answered (although no update has *ever* been published) and to top it all off Cinch Audio Recorder no longer works under the most recent Windows builds (!).

Website is still unchanged after many years. Looks like a ghost dev. It is therefore not recommended, this kind of developers think they can continue to live on a once-planted tree. Just about worst software service in decades and worthless for now.

Developers, take your responsibility and at least fix the problems under Windows 10 ... my 4 'lifetime' licenses are completely worthless until then.

M User I'll second that. Since 2016 - 2017 not any update (still version 4.0.2). On Windows 10 it opens, but no recording anymore. So NOT recommended...as this is a audio recording tool !

bvssunnydale Hi, I'm currently using Reel Downloader but would like to find something to replace it. Does this download audio much faster than the playback (I just don't have an hour to record an hour audio - Reel Downloader is good at that on sites it works on). Thanks for your help.

Al Online license activation is required with a hardware footprint, and 1 installation per footprint. -- So what happens when I replace my computer, and/or use a home desktop and a laptop for travel? ! This type of hardware footprint based DRM scheme and especially limited to 1 installation per computer seems to be a hands down no-go!

Both, packaging title and the the title bar on the screenshot present on the offer clearly refer to "Cinch Audio Recorder" and no "Cinch Streaming Audio Recorder"
Why to still use the name "Cinch Streaming Audio Recorder" ?
Current version is 5.0.1.0
No changelog is available on their site.

You're absolutely right — the product was originally known as Cinch Streaming Audio Recorder and has since been rebranded to Cinch Audio Recorder Pro. However, some third-party platforms may still display the older name due to legacy listings or SEO continuity. We're working with our partners to update all references to the correct name: Cinch Audio Recorder.

Also, just to clarify — our product has no connection whatsoever with Apowersoft or their software. We are completely independent and not affiliated with them in any way.

Regarding the version info, the current version is 5.0.1.0, and we’ll soon update our website to include a changelog for better transparency.
