Harrison Rose Hi Danny,

I hope that CleanMyPC will finally be the product which meets, and then exceeds your expectations. The product has received much critical acclaim on many review sites, the likes of Tucows, Softonic, Softpedia, Brothersoft and in the official Windows Magazine. Take a look for yourself my friend!

Harrison Rose Sorry to you Rafel; and thanks for letting me know Atalay.

I must not have had my daily dosage of coffee today!

This product is created by MacPaw Inc, and the CleanMyMac/CleanMyPC range is regarded as their flagship product.

The software is still actively improved and updated by MacPaw whom I have co-ordinated this discount promotion on personally.

To summarise, no, the product has not been discontinued :)

Danny Okay, I got it to compare to other similar groups. the best is of course not, that I do know. That lifetime licence is a plus! Only question is whether a company who deal with so many different software developments (if Paddle) actually 100% securing with upgrading program and improvement of this software than a company that specifically deal with a few software applications!

Lifetime Upgrades I have a couple of questions about the purchase of CleanMyPC.

With the purchase of this software, will the registration be through Paddle or through MacPaw Inc.

Is there a registry backup with the software? It is always very dangerous to delete registry items automatically without a backup.

Is the lifetime license valid for all future upgrades through you or is this type of license valid through MacPaw?

Finally, is this a SIngle License, Double License, or a Family License.

Harrison Rose Hi there,

The purchase of the product is made through Paddle. All license registration is made through MacPaw. Essentially, they provide us with the rights to sell the game, along with the licenses/serials to be distributed to paying customers.

Regarding the registry management, CleanMyPC has a dedicated Registry Cleanup solution. The specifics of this are outlined here: http://macpaw.com/cleanmypc/features

I think the best way to identify the full functionality of the registry cleanup solution would be to download the trial of the product: http://macpaw.com/cleanmy...ou?force=1 and have a look around!

Thanks for your comment Danny.

Paddle deal directly with each vendor we work with in order to arrange discount promotions like this! So you should have no concerns! If you would like any further detail surrounding this please feel free to get back in touch

Danny Usually I use TuneUp Utilities, but I sit with that annual upgrade costs in the stomach. TuneUp Utilities does have a lot of good rewiews what I cannot say CleanMyPC 's. There are comparison tables on these two in circulation?

Lifetime Upgrades Thank you Harrison for the prompt reply.

However, what license is this:
Is this a Single License, Double License, or a Family License.

Harrison Rose Hi Danny,

I haven't actually seen any around. My advice again, would be to give the product a trial using this link: http://macpaw.com/cleanmy...ou?force=1 and then make a decision whether the product was right for you before the end of the promotion.

This is a single license :)

Stephane M Hi,
I already purchased it through PCBundler, is it the same lifetime license I got?
Thanks!

Alan Is this licensed per user or per computer? I didn't think I saw it mentioned anywhere. The reason I ask is that I have probably 10 VM's that I've created over the years, and deleted a bunch of apps, etc, and there are pieces of the apps still left, and I would love to clean them up.

Harrison Rose Hi Alan,

The product is licensed per computer my friend.

So Roger from BDJ, could you tell me if I got the same lifetime license when I purchased it from PCBundler a few days ago?
Thanks.

KS I purchased 1 copy as checkout procedure did not allow a quantity box, but wanted 2 (for 2 PCs). I entered a 2nd order and upon clicking to actually purchase (with my credit card number automatically given by Paddle), the completed purchase window never appeared, just the busy cursor going round & round forever. The 2nd copy never showed in my locker. How may I purchase the 2nd copy for my desktop PC? The first was for my laptop.

Harrison Rose @KS, if you're having troubles with checkout feel free to forward those to help@paddle.com

The team will be on hand to help out!

@VLM I'm not sure my friend! Do you have a YouTube video or something along those lines to give me a better idea?

VLM Hi Harrison,

1. I'm not sure what to make a video of ... me going to the post office? Well, I made myself laugh, at least. :):) I am happy to just put cash into an envelope and send it to you, I do this all the time. If that's okay with you ...

2. What about my other question about the product on TV? I think it can be found here: http://www.cleanmypc.com/. Is this the same product? I haven't a clue, and I'm ALWAYS leery of these things advertised on TV. I mean, just how secure are they likely to be?? !!! Maybe I'm just a tad paranoid.

3. What makes CleanMyPC more valuable than CCleaner, which is time-tested and free?

Harrison Rose Sorry! Only caught the question about the advert. My mistake.

1) Send the proposal to helppaddle.com, they'll be able to assist you on this matter!

2)The advert you have linked there, is not the same as the one being advertised.

3)In my personal experience it's the premium products which tend to produce the best results, whether that be a web design application, or something much simpler. Read some more about the fantastic features of CleanMyPC at Paddle via the "Buy now" link, or alternatively at the MacPaw site: http://macpaw.com/cleanmypc

Lifetime Upgrades I believe the last update was in March of 2012.

Are there any plans to update or upgrade the software in the near future?
Feb 22 2013 at 4:51pm Copy Link

Mark Johnson @VLM - I believe the rather disgusting TV ads you are thinking about are for a different product that has a very similar name - MyCleanPC (not CleanMyPC).

Example:
http://www.youtube.com/wa...9m2s6QG1Q0

I have not used the product being sold here, but it definitely looks like a good product. It is unfortunate that the name of this product is so similar to another product that appears to be a scam.

Lifetime Upgrades Sorry about last comment, it is incorrect. I see CleanMyPC has had several fixes and improvements since the March 2012 release.

VLM Mark Johnson - Yes, that's the one, thank you! No wonder I found it confusing, and I didn't happen to see the TV ad while this promotion was running. So NEXT time, I'll look at this one much more closely.
