Joshua Cowan Is this licensed per machine, per user, or some other way? I've searched the website/forums, and read the EULA. Even though what I've seen suggests that it's licensed per user, I can't find a definitive answer. Can I use this on both my desktop and my laptop with a single license?
Mar 15 2010 at 5:57pm Copy Link

Katarzyna Skorczynska License is per user, so as long as you can assure one license will be used only by one user at a given time, you are free to install it on both computers.

Ash Goyal Seems like a useful application. Can I export column data to Excel directly? I tried running it on my photos folder containing 25000 photos (13GB data) and it crashed after a while before it could display the result. I am running Win7 64 bit Home Premium (i7-920, 12GB RAM) so not sure what caused the crash!

Tom Colvin Unfortunately, the payment page is trying to force me into adding the extended download option, an additional $10 + charge. I've gone through filling in the order forms 3 times with the same result.

I hope that problem can be fixed, as I would like to buy this product.

Katarzyna Skorczynska It crashed? That's impossible! :D I will contact you via mail to investigate it further and will be happy to include the fix in the next update.
As for the Excel export - you can save the listing into a CSV file which you can open directly in Excel.

Katarzyna Skorczynska to Thomas Colvin: please select the check box in the "Remove" column for the "Extended Download for Directory Lister Pro" position and then press the "Update" button. This will effectively remove this option from the cart.
This option is NOT required to purchase the product and can be safely removed from the basket. Sorry about that, but it is share-it obstacle.

Katarzyna Skorczynska to Joran Toresen: Yes, it is possible to download and install updates if you uncheck the extended download service. All future upgrades are for free :)
Also you will never miss an upgrade if only you leave the "Automatically check for updates" option checked on the "Program options" page. The program then checks for updates every 30 days.

Peter pereh I tested it on Win 7 Home 64-bit, too, and also got crashes. They normally contain these informations:
DirListerPro.exe
1.31.0.0
4b5b6d22
mshtml.dll
8.0.7600.16490
4b2c9557

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\mshtml.dll
9d856e4d-310c-11df-ab59-002564f28a5a
maybe the problems come from the HTML-output, or the softwares gets problems when busy getting data and the user changes the list layout meanwhile.

Peter pereh Just another observation. While the program was working, the task manager showed it with 25% CPU. Suddenly the Windows popup came: 'it seems this program does not work anymore', at the same time the manager changed to 0%. To a normal user (like me) it seemed like Windows did not realize that the program was still working and shut it down intentionally.

Katarzyna Skorczynska to Peter pereh: It would be interesting to see how would Windows react if you open the listing directly in Internet Explorer. The preview window is actually an embedded version of Internet Explorer so displaying a HTML table with 30000+ rows should be hard enough for both applications.
To prevent Directory Lister Pro from displaying the listing in the Preview window you would need to uncheck "Automatically refresh preview" option on the "Program options" page. Then please save the listing using the diskette icon on the toolbar. You will see then how big is the listing.

Ash Goyal Yes Peter, in my case too when the application was busy getting data for 25k photos, I changed the list layout to add additional columns and then the popup window came (after 30 secs) terminating the application. Will give it another try on a different folder.

Marek Curious Is there a way to put the path at the end of the row?
"Path" does not appear on the list of columns on the "Column order" sheet, but it is a separate field. It seems that by default it goes first. Why?
Mar 16 2010 at 8:27am Copy Link
0
Katarzyna Skorczynska to Marek Curious: Correct, "Path" is normally displayed as part of the file name and actually it can only be a separate column for CSV listings. Why would you put it as the last column? Path is also displayed in the directory row above all files.
KRKsoft - Mar 16 2010 at 8:37am Copy Link
0
Marek Curious Maybe it is a remnant from old Unix times :)
I always put the path at the end, because it can be long at times.
Imagine you have e.g. photos in various folders and would like to search for duplicates. In my opinion a good approach is to export the list with name as the first field and path as the last one, sort, and then look at the end in which folders the duplicates are. Having the path at the end helps you align fields with almost no effort. Of course you can do anything you want in Excel, but ...
Don't want to be picky, I should rather ask if it could be changed in a future release
Mar 16 2010 at 8:46am Copy Link
0
Katarzyna Skorczynska to Marek Curious: Please try this approach:
1) Check the "Path" option on "Standard columns" page
2) Uncheck "Directory rows" option on the "Display" page. This will enable "Files treated all together" option on the "Behavior" page, so check this option.
3) Make sure file sorting is done by "Name" on the "Format & Sorting" page.
This should give you exactly what you want.

Also if you have files with different names, but same size and content you can detect this by checking any of the hashes on "Other columns" page and then sorting by this hash.

Also (to the DEV) you mention html renders of directories. ... Any chance you offer flat file (unglamorous) csv to the same effect. For data manipulation reasons csv is very preferred.

Louis H Very nice application. Very fast. And free updates!

I have almost 3 TB of music (collected over more than 2 decades.) I have almost 2 TB of Loops and Samples for Music Production and Soundtrack creation. Not to mention thousands (literally) of CD-Rs and DVDs with Lord knows what all on them (I have backups of software and documents/emails from the days of the Vic-20 and the C-64.) I lost control of knowing what was on them all over a decade ago. I've done better in recent years, but gave up hopes of ever getting around to going through all the old stuff. This program has renewed a desire to begin going through them all and doing a major clean up.

Conrad TDI This is a really nice program, that worked quickly without crashing while dealing with 1+ terabyte of media files in a 64 bit Windows 7 environment. Customizable HTML output that works in Firefox or IE 9 as a menu, or in format for Excel.

I still use Everything for file searching, this program is for detailed listing of directories, with the ability through HTML to use the output file as a point-and-click menu, prefect for my wife to find a music file and play it without much effort.

Add to that, a lifetime license for $15! Nice deal......

Software Guy This is a full featured directory print utility - very useful for archiving and finding specific files. For users that just want simple directory printouts, there are many free utilities available - run a search for free directory printer software on google - too many to list One interesting utility that can print folders with options plus find duplicate files and delete (or move to a specified folder) and perform many other functions is directory report - $25 Read reviews on cnet .http://download.cnet.com/...59457.html and check out the videos on the webisite http://www.file-utilities.com/ . The only negative is that the interface is old school so it takes a little learning - best to watch the videos on the site to see how things are done.
So, there you have 3 options, free with no frills directory printing, this fine utility at discount on BDJ today with lots of feature options, and a similar print utility that can synchronizefolders and find duplicate files. Hope this helps users find the best software to fit their needs.

random user So did I and it is very nice.

The thing that prevents me from using it on a regular basis is that it does not appear in the shell when I right click on a folder in XYplorer.

I have to make a point to actually open the target folder using Windows Explorer.

The next hindrance is that when I go to generate a listing, I have to save it as a text file first, which means I then have to go to where I saved that file and then open it in order to work on the listing that was created.

Ideally, I'd like to right-click on a folder in XYplorer and have the listing appear in an open instance of metapad (a notepad replacement) per the defaults I set in the application. This would mean that I need to be able to pre-select which application is my default application for viewing the output.

Is it possible to add that capability to the application?
Apr 7 2012 at 10:36am Copy Link
0
Katarzyna Skorczynska Hi, I have checked XYplorer and indeed for some reason Directory Lister Pro doesn't appear on it's context menu. Will check why as I can see other entries are there.
As for opening the file - there is an option in the "Save as" dialog called "Open listing file after creation". All you need to do is to associate txt extension with Metapad.
KRKsoft - Apr 7 2012 at 11:20am Copy Link

Katarzyna Skorczynska ok - here's the solution - please download this file http://krksoft.com/DirListerExt32.dll and save it in "c:\Program Files (x86)\Directory Lister Pro" folder (make sure you have admin rights). Then execute this command:
regsvr32.exe "c:\Program Files (x86)\Directory Lister Pro\DirListerExt32.dll"
from the Administrator's command line (enter cmd.exe in start menu and then right click on it and choose "Run as administrator")
The issue is because XYplorer is a 32-bit application and Directory Lister Pro installs 64-bit shell extension which cannot be loaded be XYplorer. The file above is a 32-bit shell extension which can be loaded by XYplorer.

random user Excellent and excellent! Thank you for the fast response.

I followed the instructions above and everything works as advertised. :-)

Is there any way to have the "Open listing after file creation" option enabled by default?
Apr 7 2012 at 11:55am Copy Link
0
Katarzyna Skorczynska yes, this option is saved when you save a configuration. So you need to first open Directory Lister Pro, load your favorite configuration, save a dummy listing selecting this option on the "Save as" dialog and then "save as quick configuration".
Please note there are some default configurations stored in Directory Lister Pro folder, but when you save a quick configuration it is stored in %APPDATA%\KRKsoft\Directory Lister Pro folder.

Jon User This is great addition to my system, making up for some sorely missed functionality that should have been built into the Windows 7 OS. (of course you did a much better job than anything M$ probably would have come up with.)

The installation was very smooth on win7 HE 64-bit. No alarms from anti-virus, anti-malware or any other security software running on my system. Licensing was very easy too.

So far I have successfully listed about 300 Mb of music and pictures and tested the output in multiple formats. The listings were generated very quickly, basically in a a matterr of seconds. I especially like the incredible amount of control this allows over which pieces of data are included.

Great job overall and thanks very much for the discount today.

Matt Seems like really nice software, although I have a couple of thoughts.

Wouldn't 'Folder Lister Pro' be more appropriate for a title since this is a Windows app and not a DOS app? Maybe the name was already taken.

I know some people from the old DOS days still call folders 'Directories', maybe out of habit or maybe to some it sounds more impressive.

Also, many of the fields (Text Labels) within the program are inconsistently named. At times 'directories' is spelled out completely, other times it's abbreviated 'dirs' and 'subdirs'

One example of many would be on the 'Display' tab.

You have one label that reads "End directories with \" and then directly below that a label reads "Draw dirs tree". There is plenty of space to completely spell out 'directories' so that shouldn't be an issue.

I think consistency in naming the text labels looks more professional.

And one last thing...Should there really be a 'Language' button on the menu? Do people really change their GUI language on the fly? Wouldn't that be better handled in the 'Program options'? Maybe it's being used as a filler to extend the length of the menu.

Very nice software though at a nice price! Can't beat the free lifetime upgrades!

Katarzyna Skorczynska Hello James, thank you for your valuable comment!
The abbreviations will be corrected in the next version. Actually we are considering to rename them all to "folders" but then the name would be really not matching what's inside.
As for the name - it was coined back in 1999 where DOS was still widely used and Directory Lister was meant to be a "dir" command replacement / extension.
The toolbar will be replaced somewhere around 1.50 into a ribbon.

Matt Hello Katarzyna,

Thank you for listening to my comments and for your very polite reply!
Many developers would not have responded so kindly. That alone speaks highly of you and your software.

Katarzyna Skorczynska Hello Peter, why wouldn't you like the ribbon? There are two reasons behind it: 1) Microsoft is using it in all products as of now 2) we want to expose some of the most important buttons on the toolbar.

KRKsoft - Sep 10 2012 at 11:15am Copy Link

Matt Peter, it's true that there is a lot of 'free' space on the toolbar for more buttons and I can see your point.

I found out a few more things that seem kind of unusual...

I think it's strange to see the progress bar 'AT All TIMES' in the right part of the status bar. At first, I actually clicked and left-dragged it thinking it was a horizontal scroll bar. It looks like a scroll bar button.

I've never seen a progress bar that is shown like that while nothing is being scanned. I didn't realize it was a progress bar until I started scanning a folder.

Also, the tool tips aren't working properly on my Win 7-64 PC. Only any single one toolbar button will display a tool tip. When I mouse-over another button... no tool tip. I have to shut down DLP and then re-start it to get another tool tip. And then again, it will only display a tool tip for any one single button. Again I mouse-over another button and no tool tip.

I was scanning my entire D drive and I found no obvious way to cancel the scan because the tool tips weren't working (even though they're turned on in 'Program options'). I do realize that tool tips are also shown in the status bar, but the 'scan status' was over-writing the status bar tool tip. I eventually clicked on 'FileCancel' to cancel the scan.

Katarzyna Skorczynska James, as for the progress bar - there is a planned change for the whole scanning, but it will not be implemented very soon.
The tooltips are actually tested on Win7 and Win8 64 and I was not able to reproduce this behavior.

Jon,
If you have completed a Payment through PayPal you should have received an Email from them (confirming the purchase) withing seconds afrterward. If NOT, you could Log into your PayPal Accocount and check your payment history.
I hope that helps!!

After completing the order, the link to PayPal just didn't work and I don't know if I have an outstanding order, for which I don't want to be pursued for years. Yes, I looked at my PayPal history immediately but they;re not showing anything. Can KKRsoft please confirm they can't see my order?

That was me, Chris Roy Jackson... I am having a problem with "cookies" for some unknown reason, and as a result, I Login and then Post to the Visitor account (even though my name is at the top of the "Comment box" indicating that I have successfully logged in)!!

If you have a completed Payment it still doesn't mean anything until you have completed a payment. Who is KKRsoft's Payment Processor?? It sounds like someone at that company wrote a bad script if the PayPal Payment button isn't working.

Tortuga Hello
After reading the comments from previous posters, decided to purchase.
Did so a bit more than 4hours ago. Did rcv the first notification, but not the actual transaction.
Order # 42xxxx345

As w previous purchases, the same type of scenario ALWAYS happens when Share It is involved!! Unnecessarily stressful ...
Anyway, hope nothing is wrong & it will come through between "4hrs to 24hrs" as stated.

Garrett Goyette Hi, i purchased this thru BDJ last Nov but upon searching all my emails can only find a share-it notification that my purchase is being reviewed but no follow up emails. So i never received a registration code. Indeed i nevver even used the trial but i am deeply interested in giving it a spin now.

I see from above i am not the only person with Share-it issue and now i am going to peruse the 80+ purchases i have made through BDJ to see what else slipped thru the cracks

I ma going to download the trial now and install and see what we can do to resolve the previous problem. Thanks

Tortuga @Katarzyna Skorczynska - Hi

May I ask if the issue w XYPlorer, raised last April by a poster, has been resolved?
This is the file mngr I use the most.
Have several PCs & Laptops, w XP SP3, SP2, W7 x64, W7 Pro x64
As I understood, it only affected x64 OSs, right?
Do we still need to use the workaround you posted at the time?

Thank you

Katarzyna Skorczynska Tortuga, your payment is still processing as I can see.
The issue with XYPlorer is still present, but there will be a new version coming out this week with the issue resolved.

Garrett Goyette, I can see your payment has status "payment not possible". Description says: "It is possible that the payment was declined because, for example, the order was cancelled before payment or the credit card payment was declined."

Adam Smith I purchased your program today, so will give more comments when I have been sent the program. However I really must state that the ribbon is not a helpful addition, so strongly suggest if you include a ribbon, ALWAYS give users the option to disable it
Ribbons cause reduced screen space for the actual program, and many people really dislike the ribbon
Please listen to the feedback

Garrett Goyette TY for the quick response. I decided to rebuy at the BDJ discount a few minutes before midnight after downloading the trial and firing it up. The program looks very sophisticated and will fill a niche need that is a bit cludgy with xplorer2, etc.

. I could not find any transaction in Paypal and have yet to search the Credit card records that i seemed to use for previous Share-it purchases. If i come up with anything different i will contact you later. Perhaps there was a paypal issue or something. No worries,

SagaxSoft Support Hi Danny!

Directory Lister Pro is a good program for creating lists of files and folders in snapshot mode. It is optimized for that. Total Directory Report (http://www.bitsdujour.com...ory-report) is optimized for creating analytical reports or detailed lists of files. Also, Total Directory Report support the FTP protocol.

Ivo Stika I own it but can not use it - must admit I have contacted support, very kind and fast reply, problem I had was partially solved (was related to some video codec issue).
However, when using on large directory (3000+ video files) program is still frozen and does nothing. Could be again related to video codec not recognised (different one). Working with support on resolving this issue, but in the meantime I have to use different product which surprisingly has no issues at all (same directory...).
Jan 30 2013 at 1:27pm Copy Link
0
Katarzyna Skorczynska @Ivo Stika - Yes, unfortunately even though our test movie database is 200GB large there still could be some formats which are not recognized by Directory Lister Pro properly. In Ivo's case it could be also a broken file, but still we are trying to resolve the issues case by case.
Also we are working on a better progress status so it would be much easier to figure out which file has problems.

Matt Hi Katarzyna,

I purchased Directory Lister Pro back on September of 2012. At that time you offered Free Lifetime Upgrades.

The 'Fine Print' then stated: "Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for the lifetime of the product." Fortunately, I took a screenshot of the Fine Print showing this.

I see that your current policy has changed and no longer includes lifetime upgrades.

Will you still honor the Free Lifetime Upgrades for your past customers that made purchases prior to your policy change?

Thank you.

Katarzyna Skorczynska @James Rizzo, @Debra Keldrauk: The upgrade policy is now that you have minor enhancements and fixes for free within a current major (1.x) release. Then there comes the Upgrade Assurance at $7.95/year where you can upgrade to any new version. The plan is to release major versions each year, followed by minor enhancements and bug fixes as necessary. After 2.0 is released, only defects will be fixed for 1.x.

Katarzyna Skorczynska @Francis Pillow: The reason is there are actually three columns called "Comments" - one for multimedia properties, one for document properties and one for exe properties. Yes, I know this is a slight mess and in the future they will be merged into one.
Currently the BDJ promo is only for the Pro edition. I will talk to Roger about a new promo for the Enterprise edition.

Ohh !? :(
Are you saying a portable version DOES exist, but it's only available in Enterprise edition ??!! Why? I've bought lots of apps on BdJ, from file mngrs to PDFs to security, cleaners, dictionaries, backups, transfers, copiers, tools & tweakers of all sorts, and even the expensive ones provide a portable version. It's much more practical to have an app on an external rather than installing it on all the PCs/Laptops/Tablets.
And I really don't mind that it doesn't upgrade automatically! :) I go through my portables folder once a month & upgrade everything that has a new version

Right now I am creating HTML playlists for my site and I need to include the exact same filename as in my local PC folder. At least this program will create lists of my file names so I dont have to go and copy the name in my folder.

2
What do you mean by:
"In HTML format, your directory file lists can contain live links to actual files and directories, so visitors can click through to get more information" ??

Can I use this software on my sites server ?
"Visitors can click through" ?

3
What if you made an addition to your software so the generated HTML document can be used
on my website ? I want to make my files in certain folders downloadable and if the generated HTML document could be used in that way it would be great.

Then I could just insert the code anywhere on my page and the files would be downloadable/streamable etc ? Different themes etc...
I just fill in server path for files to be uploaded to and then the code is generated ?

VLM Other than HTML, what output formats are supported, if any?
Aug 2 2015 at 7:38am Copy Link

Katarzyna Skorczynska @mix624: yes, you can use the generated listing on your server. On the "HTML" page if you select "Generate links to files" and select "Path" setting on the "Display" page to a relative path (ie. other than "Full") then the raw link created in the tag is relative to the place where the listing is stored. It is also possible to add a specific prefix like http://www... in front of each link with the "Link pattern" option.
KRKsoft - Aug 2 2015 at 8:41am Copy Link

Aug 2 2015 at 11:38am Copy Link

Katarzyna Skorczynska @mix624: well, link is a link, so once you click it and the file is there you get it whatever it is.
As for the Enterprise edition (comparison is here: http://www.krksoft.com/registration.php) it's mainly the database output and portable edition included.
KRKsoft - Aug 2 2015 at 11:54am Copy Link

Katarzyna Skorczynska @VLM: Total Directory Report mainly provides summaries of one selected folder, like how many files of given size or type are there while Directory Lister gives you the list of files in one or more folders plus additional properties extracted from the files like multimedia width and height or document author etc.

Katarzyna Skorczynska @Brenda - I had issues with Comcast before - I usually cannot send an e-mail to comcast user because my IP is blocked. I guess the only solution would be to purchase a separate IP.

Brenda Adams Kat,
Upgrade then is same price as is being offered here for first time buyers???
Comcast: no Comcast user will be able to get your deal, or program or trial of program. I spent evening on computer and phone with three different levels of tech support personnel at Comcast. They conclude that it's something on your end, that they can connect when they test using their non-Comcast smart phones, but like me, they cannot connect to you using any Comcast service. Repeat: Comcast says it's something on your site as they can find nothing on their side of things. (So, is there some way you can provide a list of changes somewhere else? A trial somewhere else? And extend the deal until this is resolved? I should say, since the deal isn't 'on' quite yet, somehow extend times for Comcast people if not fixed in time for the deal?)

Gonzo Has this been tested with hundreds of thousands/millions of files?
I have several HDDs ranging from 1 to 4 TB, with lots of files (ranging from bytes to several GBs each) and I'd like to generate for each a list containing:
-Path
-File Name
-Size
-Checksum

So far I've tried many programs, but most of them would just freeze then die at some point (I can only guess due to the amount of files, or maybe size of some of them). I honestly can't spend hours running the same program with small groups of files/folders; there has to be a way.

I may have tried an older version of this app, but can't really remember.
Jan 31 2016 at 6:35am Copy Link
0
Katarzyna Skorczynska This is possible with the database output which is available in the Enterprise edition. Directory Lister would definitely hang if you try to generate a html listing from millions of files either due to out of memory for storing internal data or displaying the resulting html file. Please also note calculating a hashsum for a file means all bytes must be read so it takes a while.
KRKsoft - Jan 31 2016 at 6:51am Copy Link
0
Gonzo Agreed, hashsum takes a lot of time, and I don't mind waiting; problem is all programs I tried ended up hanging then closing unexpectedly (ie. I wouldn't use the computer for anything else, and still the program would die on me).

Enterprise Edition sounds like I'd have to spend lots of money on it... Will it be available here on BitsDuJour?

J Hello,

I can't get to the website either (Comcast). I've been trying for months in order to check for updates. I wonder how many others can't get there either. Sounds like a big loss in sales.

It would really be nice if the developer could change things on 'his' end to allow us to update the software we purchased, instead of suggesting that all Comcast customers purchase a new IP address.

Thanks.

Great! I know it sounds silly that everybody else can get to you and only Comcast people cannot (and they think it's you). But on the other hand, you mentioned that you cannot even EMAIL Comcast folks...hmmm...all so odd. They maintain they don't have you on any 'block.'
One thing I didn't tell you:
One support person that I spoke to mentioned (and it was never brought up again) that he timed the time it took to open your site and that the time was way way more than is normal to open other sites. (I have to think he did the timing using his Apple phone because he had mentioned that he couldn't open with his PC.)

Katarzyna Skorczynska @Brenda Thank you for the info! The issue with the mail was that Comcast mail server refused to accept my email. I submitted the unblock request yesterday but apparently this is not the case here as they wrote the IP is not on the block list.

Several users on internet point out some other site being not accessible from Comcast and say this is DNS issue.
You might want to confirm this is a DNS issue by executing this command:
nslookup www.krksoft.com
while this one should work:
nslookup www.krksoft.com 8.8.8.8
(the latter one is using Google DNS server to resolve the name).

J Hello Katarzyna,

I'm sorry for misunderstanding you concerning the IP address issue.

Another question... I purchased Directory Lister Pro on an earlier BDJ sale (September 2012) during the time you offered 'Free Lifetime Upgrades'. You confirmed in your earlier posts, that you will continue to honor these free upgrades.

If I should be able to connect to your website (I'm a Comcast user), and download the latest 2.x version, do I continue to use my existing version 1.7 registration information / unlock code or should I request a new unlock code?

Thank you.

Dippy Dawg Katarzyna,

I tried the nslookup queries, I have tried to change my DNS on client but still no luck. Comcast crippled firmware in their gateway modem/router will not let you change the DNS. God I love Comcast!

I have the same question as "J" I purchased Directory Lister Pro during the same offer in Sep 2012 and that did include Free lifetime upgrades. I am not sure I can receive an email from you. Do you have another email address you can use that does not use the "krksoft.com" domain? If you do maybe you could use that email address and send "J" and me a new license key for version 2.x I have been trying for weeks to download version 2 from your website but could not connect. Even if I did connect and downloaded Ver 2.x it would not worked because I was not aware I needed a new License key.

Tortuga @Katarzyna, Hi :)
I too purchased DLP back in Sep.2012. At the time, the license was Lifetime.
The policy was changed later, sometime around early 2014. At the time, several of us asked abt the policy change, and you replied that you would honour the previous terms. On 16.4.2014 your answer was:
"the short answer is 'yes', the new policy ONLY applies to new purchases" (emphasis mine)
I don't understand ... Do we need a new License?!! Is a new RegKey automatically sent, or do we need to ask, or ... I am confused :(

John User This was just the software program I needed and was missing. After downloading and installing the trial version I purchased and registered the full version using PayPal without a hitch.

I had been looking for something like this to print out large directories of music, software programs and movies and this did the trick perfectly! Thank you BDJ for the offering and the discount.

As mentioned, one additional feature would be a little added customization where one could change the font size and color. My listing is coming out blue and a pale green which is hard to read. The printout I got was a little easier to read although the print was quite small and some flexibility here with font size would be appreciate too.

In all I give this program a solid A+ for meeting my needs exactly!

As for the Comcast - I hope to resolve this issue by changing the IP to be unique and then contacting Comcast to see why they block my site - is this because of DNS as other people wrote on the Internet or was this because of the shared IP. Anyway, if the issue is resolved you should be able to check for updates.

Katarzyna Skorczynska @J - it is a setting on the "Display" page -> "Header options" group -> "Title" option. The reason you still have 1.0 listed is because you originally installed v1.x and this was the string at that time. But you can change it anytime (or delete it if you wish).

The license is quite generous. The only disappointment was that I couldn't find a discount for registered users wanting to upgrade on major version change, so you'd have to buy it again from scratch.

HJ User I installed the program. When I pick a folder, the program seems to be grinding away, but the directory listing ends up blank. I tried saving it, and the saved item is also blank. The application screen thanks me for testing the program. I suspect it is treating me as though the 30 day trial is over, even though I just installed it today.

I would purchase the program if the trial worked properly,

Bertie Brummel Bought the Enterprise edition today, but received a confirmation mail that included a key-file for the Pro version only? Please check and send the correct key-file. Thanks.

Katarzyna Skorczynska @Bertie Brummel - the key file is named with the Pro word in it, but the contents could be a key to any edition.

John User I purchased this previously and it is a very good program.

I am on a new computer now and would like to install and register it. I have the key file sent to me and downloaded the trial version, but I don't see anywhere to enter the data from the key file.

Could you please assist in registering this program? Thank you

toni User First of all, thank you for this great software. I bought the Enterprise version here, which offers the possibility to make the program portable, but I couldn't find anything about how to do it, can you please help me? Many thanks in advance

Duane User I liked the feature for being able to list a lot of information in the Multimedia columns that you don't see in File Explorer. Unfortunately, they were all blank!

Not ready for prime time.
