What are people saying about Domain Extractor Basic

Jim J. Hi,

Your demo Domain Extractor Basic is very confusing because you limit to 10 links and makes it very non-obvious what happens when additional pages or text are added since typically the first page already use up the 10 links.

Frankly, people won't be bothered with a tool unless they have to deal with hundreds or thousands of links, if not more.

So by allowing more links in your demo, at least trial user can see how the links increase or change and can understand your software better.  You WILL have MORE sales by making your demo LESS restrictive.

I am totally confused after spending much time with the software, primarily due to the 10 links limitation.

Ian Gordon I don't understand. Why would you want to harvest subdomains from someone's website. I can't see a use for that.
Could someone enlighten me please.

Manu dRB I believe this is for when you want to obtain a domain name for your business, e.g. www.flowers4u.com so it maybe exists and you want to know what other options you may have so you do the research and this app may help you giving you a list of domains and/or subdomains already in existence so you can modify the name of your domain so it's available I guess.

Software Babe Just go to InterNIC or NetworkSolutions to find out if it is available.

There are lots of freeware tools out there that you can type a web name into and it will come back and tell you if that domain/sub-domain is available.

Ian Gordon It's easy enough to see if a domain is available you just try registering on any registrar website. Trawling someone else's website will show you what isn't available but what on earth is the point in that?
Sub-domains are irrelevant, you don't register those you need a main domain first and hang any old sub-domain off it.
Finding what isn't available doesn't help you with ideas for what is available. Neither is trawling someone else's site.
I just don't get it.

Rick Truell Ian Gordon: "I just don't get it."

You don't get it because you're not a Spammer. If you were a Spammer (or, like me, easily able to see things from another point of view), you'd know just how useful a tool like this is.

Although you're right about sub-domains...even for Spammers, they're irrelevant.

Zach User Yeah, I don't get what the purpose for this is for either; if you want your own domain name, just make one if it's not valid or is used up make another until you find a name that is usable and valid. It's not rocket science to make your own domain.

I can easily make my own domain, except I don't need to; that and the stupid subscription fee for your domain to be valid and operational. I wonder if there is a way to make your own website/domain for free without registering for a domain.....? You know, hook up your own server in your house to the World Wide Web and host your webpage from there. Of course I'm guessing you would need to learn how to make your own website and stuff and have a killer net connection too(or at least a very reliable one that never drops EVER!), but surely it isn't that hard....

Jeff Usher Downloaded the trial from the website and the software continually gives script errors making it really difficult to use. Running on x64 Windows 10. Is this the same in the full version??

Constantin Florea @Jeff Usher, For some sites this does happen and I believe the only work around is that you disable Javascript in Internet Explorer.
