Michael R I am looking fro a tool, which allows batchfile-debugging, i.e. single-step run-through a batch-file, trace into another batch-file being called, being able to set breakpoints at certain lines and watch some vars (escpecially the errorlevel-value).

Is something like this possible with Dr.Batcher too?

Vadim Stankevich In current version there is no integrated debugger in Dr.Batcher. But we are going to develop it in the following version in according to the user's feedback.

Frank Stephens Michael R, you can simply insert lines to display values in your batch (command) file. I'm astounded that anyone would build a product like this at this time. The command interpreter is limited, bizarre, buggy, and seriously obsolete. I would be astonished if this supports all of the bizarre undocumented intricacies of command files, but I'm not going to test it. Windows has other scripting languages.

Ad User I am using Internet Explorer and running malwarebytes.
Malwarebytes keep blocking access to http://www.drbatcher.com/
Anyone else have the same problem?
Log blocks 89.108.67.59 as "Type: outgoing" on various ports
I'm concerned.

Some e-commerce systems that we have our discounts through have problems with PayPal as a purchase method. Plimus has had a lot of problems recently because of a recent dispute between Plimus and PayPal. This offer goes through Share-It, and they should work fine with PayPal. Unfortunately there isn't much we can do if your gmail address isn't working with PayPal. We're just forwarding you on to the software vendor's shopping cart at the e-commerce company.

I think your best bet is to contact PayPal or Share-It and ask them for help. Sorry I can't do more.

Vadim Stankevich Probably, it is false detection by Malwarebytes, we had no any problems with any other anti-virus tools. You can use online scanners to check our site and our software.

I contacted ShareIt and Digital River by email and phone and they are unrelenting in accepting gmail in connection with a payment.
They claim that gmail is not secure and can't be verified,despite my assurances that gmail is more secure than before with their verification methods.PayPal also requires verification.(and PayPal accepts gmail)
Just look at the irony of it all.

Ironically ,I purposely used gmail to contact them and it was accepted :)
Nevertheless ,they insist it's their policy and they don't intend to vary it.
They will only accept non-free email addresses ,such as from an ISP and other paid-for email services
My last purchase was only accepted after using a very infrequently used ISP email address ,that btw receives lots of spam unlke my gmail adddress.
Go figure.

Meanwhile .. do any of the freeware or all-purpose editors provide any syntax assistance for batch files ?

Version 3 has 'alpha' status and is still under development. We're testing it with the limited amount of volunteers, and not so limited amount of srcipts :)
We expect public beta of version 3 in January of early February, but cannot publish more details at this time. We are not ready to give any promises about price and discount for version 3 before its commercial release. Still we are customer-oriented company, and we'll do our best to satisfy Dr.Batcher buyers with our price policy.

Where is the FEATURES COMPARISON chart, that shows the difference(s) between the Personal and the Business edition?
I reviewed the vendor's website and couldn't find any sort of Features chart or matrix, showing the differences between the Personal & Business edition.

Or do they have the Same Feature set, but the price difference is that one is licensed for Home Users only (personal) and the other is licensed for use in a corporate environment (Business)?

John Killian Windows 10 Pro Version 1511 x64 8gb Mem

program quits and directs me to contact vendor

I created an EXE file. tried to run it but error message from windows tells me "This App can't run on this PC"

tried windows 7 compatibility mode

tried windows XP compatibility mode

I purchased it before I tried it. shame on me!
I hope the new version will run on Windows 10

THX1024 Compiled executables apparently contain 16-bit instructions and therefore cannot be run in any way (even in compatibility mode) on 64-bit versions of Windows.

Compiling to .exe would have been the key selling feature for me. Will this be addressed in v3?

Brent Carey Never mind the above question. I checked out your website and the only other discounts listed were for "educational institutions and bloggers".
