Donald Cartin After reading the review posted by Frank Christensen (thanks Frank) I was hesitant to try EDDR, but I figured it was FREE for today so, why not. I recieved the registration key (I also used Firefox, (but I always use Firefox, rarely IE)) and inserted it with no problems...I haven't had time to test the pgm yet. THANKS BitsDuJour, you guys do an awesome job!!!

Justin W I'm not quite sure why anyone would pay for data recovery software like this. Recuva does the same thing and it is completely free. A more advanced solution would be to use a suitable bootable Linux distro to recover data, something that can be done even if Windows won't boot (also free).

Daniel Gaudet IHAC regarding the transfer of the license.

In the "fine print" it says the following (excerpt):

°Each license allows installation on all owned computers, but Easy Drive Data Recovery may not be used at exactly the same time on each of them.
°Transfer of a license to another owned computer is allowed.
°License activation isn't required.
°You must install/register the software while the promotion is active, and cannot do so afterwards.

From what I can gather from the installer, it only works for today's date. How can you transfer the license to another computer when you cannot install and register the software after today?

I want to confirm that the transfer of the licenses will be honored in the future as written in the "fine print". It wouldn't make sense to transfer it to another owned computer today since the license allows all computers that one owns today.

Any info would be much appreciated.

internet explorer I already have what apparently is this same version 3.0 from a previous giveaway. It says its copyright date is 2012, so it looks like no updates for it since then.

John Hood Do you plan in the future to include preview of PDFs? Excel sheets preview but PDF docs do not. Preview helps rather than having to download to my machine and then open a file with no name and just a number. Thanks.

Just close the drive window and click on help and then register and enter your key.
