Pauleduc Well, some iTunes products are not available in all countries.. It said this product was not available in Canada via iTunes, which appears to be the method of distrubution. So, unless the distribution is other than iTunes...

Macware ron r, yes you can use the fonts on Windows or Mac. The OpenType fonts work on both, and the license doesn't restrict which operating system you use, simply the number of computers you can install on (5).

keith lewis I have also tryed opening and running this software on windows and it wont open.. Maybe I am doing something wrong.. It says it is for Macintosh computers only... Thanks anyway for the chance to get this ..

Use 7-zip to open = "FreeFonts_EssentialFontsPromo.dmg"
Then open = "2.hfs" then = "EssentialFontsPromo" then = "EssentialFonts.app" then = "Contents" then = "Resources" finally drag/copy = "Fonts"

Macware The software itself won't run on Windows. You would have to run it on a Mac and then copy the font folder to your Windows machine.

Pauleduc The product is packaged as a DMG file, which means it is a disk image file for the Mac.. sort of the Mac version of ISO file. As such, it must be unpackaged on a Mac.. then if you wish, you can copy the font files and install on a Windows PC.

However, as mentioned earlier, you can download the DMG file on a windows pc and unpack the dmg file with 7-zip (free utility.. google for it). See Ron R's reply up above for instructions to get the fonts out of the package. It works, I just did it.

rodken @ ron r,(and to much others, Thank you greatly for your info, I only use windows but use different fonts when possible and it is nice that these work! Some mostly (And seem to be of Quality)

@ Macware why not make it simple to use for windows? just interested! (maybe your company has other Quality Win Fonts you would like to promote for free?!!;) I have noticed as all who are searching for other Fonts that most are very similar to types that are already out there (Which I'm sure yeally pi$$ them off [maybe a little copying/adjusting, probably comletely legal, but that's another conversation, and I have to say I have used some others though noticed the diff in quality! And if your in the Printing business makes the less quality/useful ones pointless.

Anyways this is a GREAT giveaway even if I have to use the work around and it is much appreciated!

I have just checked out the site extensivley and have noticed it is strickly Mac.
I myself am a Graphic designer and enjoy creating Fonts in the way which you do plus some being much more creative (not saying anything towards your commercial Fonts)(to anyone else they take a lot of time and Quality soft!)
Anyways these are great quality and if you are looking into Win Types aside from your converted ones or just looking to expand as I am always interested into then let me know!
I have experience in all Adobe Soft plus other Font related creation soft, and many more that are down the line but are stil very quality soft which I can bring up later.

If this sounds too much about my own benefit/whatever just remove and I will have no hard feelings toward it!

Macware We did this Mac-centric promotion primarily because we were promoting our Macware Facebook page and wanted to make sure to attract the right audience for this (not Windows customers). We do run promos for Windows only software/fonts from time to time, just keep an eye open for these on BDJ!

Grateful Even though this is a MAC download, the Open Font type used by this program is equally easy enough to import into Windows when you download a program to open the MAC file in Windows.Once opened, the .oft font type easy imports into Windows. It worked for me! Thank you very much!
