Keith User I tried to install Excel Classic Menu for Excel 2007 and the one for Word. I get the following message:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Comdlg32.ocx
AN error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed:code 5
Access is denied.

What do I do? I canceled out the install. I wanted to try this before I bought it Thursday.

John - Hi -- thanks.

Ok, don't worry about that message -- (you can choose 'ignore' when it shows that). It means that you have some other program open, so the installation software can't install that component (but no big deal).

So basically, either turn your computer off & on, and try installing it then, or simply click on 'ignore' if you get that message.

John - Hi,

I *think* it should work. The easiest way to find out is this. Download the evaluation version -- if the 'evaluation' versions works for you, then the full version will work for you as well.

Peter Wallace I placed an order for this and the MS Word Product but I have NOT gotten any more information. I got a temporary authorization come across on my Credit Card, BUT not a full one, and I have not gotten any emails with confirmation or receipt, etc... Please contact me - I need both of these but do not have a lot of money.

Chuck T Does the new menu allow adding buttons for macros, and changing the button images like the old Excel did? I've tried free downloads of other Excel classic toolbars that gave the basics, but didn't allow the customizations.

Can the classic toolbars be visible and the new toolbar be hidden?
