Edit to add:
It sounds like it only records from an external device through line in or microphone jacks. NOT from streaming within the host computer. Is that correct?

Alex Ferri Hello,

You can record from the Line-In jack. To record audio that plays on your computer like streaming audio for example all you need to do is install Soundflower on your Mac and then set your audio in to be Soundflower and audio out to be Soundflower on the Sound Preferences panel. This works perfectly.
