Constantin Florea @Chris, I am sorry about the confusion. Since this is a subscription based product, the correct phrasing is:
"
Upgrades to future versions of the software will be free for current subscriptions.
"

This has been fixed in "The Fine Print" tab.

Peter Dr @Constantin Florea So to be clear. The program works for 1 year. If there are any upgrades during that year, they are included in the price we pay now. After that, we would not be able to have upgrades, unless we pay for them.

The question is, though -- after one year, does the program still work (although without being able to upgrade)? Or does it, like some subscription-based programs -- die?

Constantin Florea @Peter Dr, According to the product website this product is sold as a subscription based product (if you go through the purchase flow on the product website until paying that should be visible), meaning that after one year the program should stop working unless you purchase a new subscription as is the case with many/most subscription based products.

However just to be sure on what happens after the year has ended, I have contacted the vendor about this as he will be able to shed more light on it.

Mike Shanahan @Dexter Yes, I can. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made here at Bits was RecMaster. They call it a screen recorder, but it’s so much more. Despite its many features, the simplicity is amazing. I use it for creating presentations and slideshows, it allows for “live” narration and that alone makes it a keeper. Keep an eye out for it in case it comes back around again.
