What are people saying about File Xterminator

anonny User If you have VSS protection enabled this AND ANY OTHER file overwriting erasure program WILL FAIL TO SECURELY ERASE DATA!

VSS silently copies the data being overwritten to the volumes shadowcopy store database in unencrypted form so the data can still be recovered by any normal data recovery tools deep scanned can be extracted out of the shadowcopy store using previous versions, system restore or any tool designed to read the restore points data and extract saved copies of files. Expect to not receive the license unless pcwinsoft use their alternate giveaway system that pre-registers the giveaway to "registered user" and uses a utility to validate the giveaway period.

PS this is not entirely relevant to this offering as this is a Mac only product and I don't think Macs have a VSS equivalent system, but is relevant to all Windows based systems and overwrite erasers, also do not use on SSD systems unless you want to reduce their lifespans. TRIM should clean up deleted data.
