What are people saying about Files Inspector Pro

John User OK, I downloaded, installed and registered this. One issue is that when I opened the program to registered it immediately started doing an initial scan which tied my my computer's resources about 10 minutes. A warning or choice to run would have been nice.

There is a lot of useful information from this program, but I have two problems that might just be me. The only 'title' of my files is GAMES - none other are shown on the summary page. Also, the first five or six characters on the summary at the left margin are missing. I was unable to find out how to adjust the margin or move the summary to the right. I am using a 27 inch monitor, full screen on the program.

Otherwise a very nice program.

Paul User Horrendous, half-finished joke.
Perhaps it was designed for a right-to-left running language.

DiggerP Nice program, but I agree with John User on this: "One issue is that when I opened the program to registered it immediately started doing an initial scan which tied my my computer's resources about 10 minutes. A warning or choice to run would have been nice. "

This becomes more pronounced when you have several large drives, which btw are ticked by Default.

In my view this is the wrong approach. Give the user a chance to explore the program and go into the Settings before starting any scan, i.o.w. Don't start scannning immediately.
Also, don't have all other drives ticked for scanning by Default.

In my case the computer would be tied up for 40 min or more.
Sorry, but this is a misjudgement by author thinking that's what users want.

I also tried the free version and the EULA, differs from the one posted on the website. https://www.chemtable.com...eement.htm
The EULA in the program states that Files Inspector is NOT Freeware. Admittedly, later, the program shows as Free version..
Downloaded from https://www.chemtable.com...pector.htm

Can't comment on the large monitor issue since I don't have that size.

lisba f I installed it and it seems it does a good job, but why I am given the option to upgrade to Pro (and pay the price above, $ 19.95) isn't it already the Pro version?
